5++ stars. Went in because my account was somehow compromised. While there, I asked the Assistant Manager for assistance with my alerts. It had been 4 months since I had received one. I had been to another branch and walked out of that branch with the issue unresolved. Stephanie Santiago was determined ti resolved the issue for me and she did!!! Excellent customer service skills and professionalism. I've been a member for more than 20 years and it's people like her that keep me there. Give that woman a raise! 🙌🏼❤

Lizzie Rodriguez, who operates the loan department in the Orlando branch of Fairwinds Credit Union is actually amazing. Today I visited the Deltona branch on Howland Boulevard. I was assisted by a young lady by the name of Rose who again made sure I was absolutely satisfied with the way the process was going. She went above and beyond. It’s a good feeling to deal with people actually care.

Another 5 stars for this credit union. I had issues signing in to my business suite account and after I called customer service they were unable to help me, they couldn't figure out the issue. I decided to go personally and see what can be done. And sure enough the great Stephanie at the front desk was able to help and figure out what the problem was. Thank you.

I have been a loyal Fairwinds customer for nearly 20 years and had opened a business account with them about 5 years ago. Last year we had our first hiccup in the business account. My husband deposited a check from a customer which ended up bouncing (she simply forgot to move the money to cover the check and we were able to resolve the balance the same day). Understandably so, Fairwinds has been apprehensive about releasing the funds of any check we have deposited since, often times holding onto 90% of the check for up to 5 days. Today my husband visited the Deltona branch to deposit a rather large check. They were offering to release $1,000, even after bringing a manager into the issue. Frustrated, my husband asked for the check back, so he can attempt to cash it at the issuing bank. That did not work due to the size of the check, so he returned to Fairwinds. The manager then told my husband that she was not releasing any funds for 5 days and her reasoning was because he had left with the check. God forbid he attempt to find alternative means of accessing HIS MONEY! My husband exclaimed that this experience has lead us to consider moving all 5 of our accounts with them to a different bank. The manager nonchalantly said, "Okay". Way to treat loyal customers Fairwinds Deltona. So I called the customer service number and explained everything that just transpired. They were very apologetic and assured me our experience was not in line with Fairwinds commitment to their customers. However, it should also be stated that the customer service department suggested I remote deposit and call to have it released but that isn't going to work either, since it exceeds the max amount to remote deposit. Gosh, how disappointing!

Why do you make it so hard just to check an account balance? You are the only place that makes you set up a stupid account while checking what's on your card.. it's 2023, figure it out it shouldn't take 15 mins to get a balance on my card ...
