I am deeply distressed. I've been a long time customer of GC, I have come to the conclusion that GC is good for basic, run-of-the mill cuts; as soon as you ask for anything that deviates from that, you ask for a hair catastrophe. I even bring a detailed photo and explain clearly how I want my cut, to no avail. The cosmetologist was a sweetheart, polite and tried very hard to correct her errors, but once the damage is done, you can't go back. This is not the first time I've experienced this problem. When I find someone who gets it right, I stick with them, but they generally move on to another salon and again I search and hope to find someone who pays attention to customer requests, and even comes close to meeting my expectations. Now I'm forced to wear a hat in public until my hair grows in enough to look acceptable. I'm tired of going to management with the same issues, I'm not out to complain and get anyone in trouble, it's challenging work doing what they do, I appreciate their effort, and they probably don't get paid enough. But , maybe you should request your employees to really listen and look, before they start chopping and clipping away on a customers hair, to be sure they are getting it right. Please don't ask me to call customer service. I'll use up my gift card and move on to different salon.

Since when do stylists ask their customs to comb their own hair? The particular person that cut my hair didn't seem like she wanted to at all, distant and unfriendly. Also had bloody bandaids on her arm. Also had me facing the window the whole time vs letting me see what she was doing. I asked her to remove 6-8 inches. And she said "how much is that to you" I'm sorry I thought we learned how to measure in elementary school. She ended up cutting about 10 inches off my hair, which is fine, it grows, but she did it to be facetious, and lazy. Then told me to comb my hair, im not really clear why and its mine so i dont care, i just dont understand the point. On top of that when she seated me she wasn't very inviting and just stared at me, apparently waiting on me to sit, and put a dirty (like not even shaken out) cover on me. I will never revisit, I will not check in online at risk of not seeing who will be working on me. This is the 2nd location and 2nd terrible experience. (After the first the manager really made it right and did a great job). I guess I should have went back there. And the haircut is not good, completely uneven, asked for layers and didn't get them.Reply to "owner" below. This review is already on the specific location.Service: Haircut

I did not have a good experience the last time I was there. I was very disappointed with the attitude of one of the brothers. To be fair they were slammed and they were shorthanded but he was extremely rude to everyone Including myself. One of the girls showed up and helped and that's the one who cut my hair she did a good job. I had an appointment and he skipped over me and told me he. Took people ahead of me? I asked them why we even had appointments if they were gonna skip me and he snapped at me. I'm pretty sure I won't be going back to this particular Great Clips because of the incident. I'm sad because those guys did do a good job. 3 stars because of attitude.

My son has been scared of haircuts since he was a baby. He is very sensitive and emotional, he has attention issues, so is also constantly turning his head. We've been coming here for about 2 years and each stylist has been SO patient with him and has not got frustrated like some other salons have in the past. Everyone has always tried to help him feel less scared and more comfortable. Each time has gotten better and better. He now does not cry at all and is no longer scared. It might seem like it's not a big deal to some, but it has been so helpful as a parent to find a salon that makes him comfortable. Thank you!!!!!Services: Kids' cuts

I don't usually do haircut reviews. Gary was exceptional. Every quality I want in a haircut. My cut should take 10 minutes or so. He did it in probably 8. Much appreciated. Conversation was pleasant. Nice guy. Glad I got Gary. I'll be back when I need another cut. Thanks!

Doug was amazing. I have a special needs daughter who will not sit still and does not respond to simple commands. He was very patient with her, and her cut looks great. (Straight and even). I would highly recommend him. Thank you, Doug. We will be back.

I stopped going here years back because of bad service and cuts. But tried them again and found my 2 favorite stylists. Gary and Barry are the only ones who I’ll allow to touch my family’s hair. Prepare for a wait because they are popular, but the best stylists in the area. I wish I could give them separate Kudos! They are the best!!!!!Services: Kids' cuts
