Disappointing customer service from a veteran's perspective.

I recently visited Lowe's and was disappointed to find that almost all cashiers have been replaced with self-checkout. There was only one cashier for the entire store. As a customer, I shouldn't be expected to do my own checkout. Not only is it inconvenient, but I am not paid by Lowes to be their cashier, and it completely diminishes the customer service experience.

This is my default home improvement shop. Excellent place to get plants on clearance. Some good deals inside clearance. Most staff are very good. A pretty good selection of items overall.

Wanted to buy vinyl corner posts. They were previously stored in the back corner of the store with the vinyl siding. I asked three employees where the corner posts were now stored and was told three different answers. Checked with customer service at the front of the store. Inventory shows that they do not carry those color (tan/putty) corner posts anymore. I was able to purchase off color corner posts to finish my construction but they were stored in another location of the store. There was no answer as to why they did not stock this particular color corner post anymore even though they still have some of the same type/color siding that I purchased previously.
Might try 'Home Depot' for my other construction needs.

No lanes are ever opened, and the staff doesn't know where to find things. They just look it up on their phone. There is no help in this store.

Went to store for a pickup later product was not there after receiving email that is was ready. Got nothing but runaround by customer service. I was told to call back on Wednesday. Really! Pretty sad.

I purchased Luxury Vinyl Planks made by Style Selections from Lowes. I DON’T recommend this floor. Lots of the planks came cracked in corners, the planks are not easy to click on the next. Some of the connections brake when you try to click them together . They told me these where good quality for the money… But NO way DON’T buy Style Selection Vinyl Planks from Lowe’s..

I'm disappointed with my experience at Lowe's in Deltona. I ordered a chandelier in 2023 and paid for installation, but despite scheduling appointments with ANGI, no one showed up. I had to find another installer. Now, I'm struggling to get a refund from Lowe's - the staff say the manager is never available. As a working mom, I don't have time to chase this down. I'm still waiting for my $127 refund and have lost trust in Lowe's service.

Competitive prices for a few items than Home Depot. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable when assisting me with doors and hinges. Definitely recommend a visit.

I was rushing, trying to build a part for my bike a very simple one, and I was unable to find the right pieces.
Even with help, but after I failed, he was walking down other aisles. They were always instead of me, and they were laughing while looking at a, that was very uncomfortable
