I don’t like the billing department. They are lazy and rather bill the patient when the insurance doesn’t pay because they always put the wrong information. By law you can’t bill no one until secondary insurance pays. If the patient pays before that, it’s illegal and it’s double dipping. Their employees like to get paid and expect their patients to do the work for them. That ain’t happening with me, I ain’t going to do no work for them! That is why they are there for! To do the billing! Learn how to read the explanation of benefits! Teach your employees what codes, modifiers etc… they need to use so you all can get paid from the patient’s insurance! Don’t ever bill the patient as soon as you get a denial claim, you have to see the explanation of benefits letter to see what you are missing! When you bill the primacy insurance and you get paid! You sent a copy of that explanation of benefits and the claim to the secondary insurance. I should do a lawsuit against quest diagnostics for always trying to bill me only because their employees make mistakes and don’t want to fix it!!! Train your employees well and teach them that they have to have integrity, selfless service, morals and do their job! Now a days everyone wants a big paycheck, but don’t do the work! I used to work with people like that! I made sure they got fired!!! Poor elderly people getting billed and don’t know anything and make their payments! Wake up people!! To the patients! Educate yourselves regarding billing for all your medical bills. When a doctor office, lab wort, scans, hospitals etc sends you a bill! Always call your insurance and ask for an explanation of benefits, that way you know what you have to pay! A couple of times quest said they billed my insurance, I called my insurance and they never received a claim! Don’t let medical offices take your money! Educate yourselves! 0 stars for quest diagnostics billing department! I called corporate today all day and no one answered. This is the second time that I am about to make a complaint to corporate headquarters office. I will definitely change to another medical lab.

don't ever go to this location they suck was waiting for an appointment for nothing since they cant check right outside the door when their tiny waiting room was full. Sat there for an hour holding my pee for absolutely nothing never again there

I’ve been here before, previously m, and it was okay. This time, for some reason, my appointment wasn’t saved in the system, so I had to wait standby. I understand appointments take priority, but there were gaps of time between appointment times, with at least one phlebotomist who didn’t have a patient, and they kept me waiting. One of the phlebotomist ironically came out after God knows how long between a patient, and I heard her ask the other guy if he was going to take the walk-in (me). She waited for a few minutes, and came out to grab the lady who she saw checking in for her appointment. I ended up leaving after waiting for about 40 minutes, bc a lab that I needed had to be drawn before 10 am, and I realized I wasn’t going to make it. I don’t work for Quest, but did phlebotomy for some years while in the Navy, and know they could have gotten me in.

I normally see the man who is very professional and gentle. Has on occasion gone out of his way to track down the order the Dr was supposed to fax and didn't. The last visit was a woman who was very pleasant to deal with. She even remembered that my husband had been in 3 weeks earlier. Both were very gentle and didn't leave a bruise. I would highly recommend this facility.

The employees here actually care about their patients. The man that drew my daughters blood was the best ! He was so kind and gentle and he knew she was going through a lot and took us without an appointment at the end of his shift . I'm so grateful that he was there for us. We will never go to a different location.

I made appt online for my mother today at 11am. She arrived earlier and was told her name was not on the computer. Then she said it was at 1pm. Two other persons were taken beforehand and later the girl said she found her name after an hour waiting. Very disorganized place.

These lab techs seriously need more training. I’ve been in the medical field for 25 years. It does not matter if the lab req states FASTING, if you are not FASTING all they need to do is put a comment not FASTING the doctor will decide once results are sent depending on results she will ask for another lab draw. It is not the lab techs decision to not draw if not fasting. I’ve never ever heard of these techs turning patients away due to this.

Roger, at this Quest, is phenomenal. He has gone beyond great customer service for both my husband, Ralph, and my daughter, Mia. He is so caring, helpful, and so careful when he draws blood. Wish more health care providers had the same compassion.

These employees here in Quest Lab inside Walmart in Deltona are the rudest and more insensitive people I have to deal with in the health field. They need manners classes urgently. I hope corporaate reads this review and knows exactly the employees working today Saturday, May 14th at 10 am.

It is almost imposible to make an appointment, they have a telephone # from NJ, I am in FL, they give me several options for labs very far away from me, in Orlando, Apocka,. I have one 15 min from my house in Deltona, FL and I can make an appointment. Complete disrespectful.
