I cannot tell you how many times I’ve shopped at this store in the past and always great customer service, however what happened today, I will NEVER come back.
We walked in and began looking at the shoes. The tall black man who was working began hovering and by hovering, I mean he would stand right behind us, not say a word, just stare. It was very uncomfortable and strange behavior. It’s somewhat hard to completely describe how he made us feel, but a gut reaction is usually spot on. And this isn’t a racial thing, I’m white and my partner with me was black, both in our 50’s.
I will be calling to speak with the manager or district manager, as his behavior lost a loyal customer. We drive to Destin every 6 months and usually spend a lot in this store. Looks like the Merrell store won our business today.

Knowledgeable and friendly team members! As soon as we walked in Richard and Kailey welcomed us and asked if we were looking for anything particular. I was looking for Noosas. Instead my husband found a pair of Nimbus at such a great price he bought two! Richard was so helpful at check out and thanked us for shopping with them. We'll definitely return the next time we're in Sandestin.

Kayley, the salesperson, was wonderful. She was kind and patient with me, and she really understood what I was looking for, showing me everything I needed to see. She's a great salesperson and she definitely deserves a 5 star rating!

The black guy that made the remark when we walked in the alarm went off. He said how you gone steal something and come back in the store. Mind you that was our first time in the store! This was on June 26th! It wasn’t funny and it was being stereotypically! It’s sad! I will never come in that store again!

Linda and Richard were very helpful and professional. I love my Nimbus 27s. They fit great and I got the color I wanted. I greatly appreciate their service, and would definitely recommend this store.

Sarah was extremely helpful. I needed a larger size shoe to start Physical Therapy with my broken foot post surgery. I had called ahead to see what sizes they carry and when I got there, she had already pulled some out for me. She specifically found ones with support, cushion and clearance, knowing that eventually the swelling would go down and I would not need that size anymore. I was also struggling to try them on, and she brought a shoe horn and helped me with the shoe. I’ve shopped here before, but she helped solidified this a great store to shop for ASICS. Amazing customer service. Thanks, Sarah! I hope to see you again when I’m ready to get my next pair.

Kind of disappointed that this is suppose to be the Asics store, yet they only sell select new Asics shoes. They do have a handful of shoes and colors (like Cumulus and Nimbus) but not as many as I was expecting. For example, they don't have any of the Stratus brands. Staff was friendly and nice and the shoes I got here were good, but I don't know, probably would buy from Asics online or another Asics store, next time, rather than driving from Pensacola all the way over here again.

I have been frequenting this store for a few years, and I have never had an experience less than stellar from Richard. His knowledge, guidance, and helpfulness is just top notch... it is so obvious that he loves his job. Folks, if you need help in finding or ordering a perfect pair of shoes, please ask for Richard. GREAT prices and friendly, helpful staff that work to keep the store organized and clean. We mainly went for my fiance because he is 6'8 and a size 15 shoe-- hard to find! We were elated to find they did have his size available; we got several pair of sneakers on clearance, $45 or less each! I was so happy to be able to find shoes in his size as that is hard to do and often requires special ordering, and I got a few pair myself as they were so affordable and comfy. Staff mentioned discounts for email sign up (you can cancel immediately) and helped to save us money! We will absolutely return and recommend this business to all!
