MURDER ON MAIN STREET Kim asked me what I wanted done to my hair. I asked her to follow the cut I had and to match the color. All was going well until her boss waltzed in, ran her fingers through my hair and ordered a different cut. I feel confident that had Dawn not butted in I would have been happy with Kim's work. But Dawn directed every snip, undermining Kim's professional status and giving me a cut that must be tamed with a ton of mousse. What Dawn did do well is to select the color. It's a good thing my hair grows quickly and I'll be able to get back to my happy style in 6 months. CASE CLOSED

I knew I was going to love Dawn and Company from the moment I made my appointment. Not only did Kim do a fabulous job on my mom's hair, but Dawn was very accommodating with my new mommy schedule. I no longer have long crazy lady hair that I could only manage to wrangle into a ponytail. I'm now the proud owner of super cute layered do that is fit for public consumption. Dawn also taught me not to over scrunch my hair when wearing it curly: apply product, scrunch, spray with a light hair spray and then don't touch it anymore! Dawn's salon is tucked in a little plaza and is the perfect size. The salon is well cared for, clean, and has a very relaxed vibe. I would highly recommend this business for anyone needing a new salon in the Destin area.

Best consult EVER! She gave recommendations, listened to what I wanted, and meanwhile made me feel very comfortable about the new change. I love my new color and I don't even have to style my hair for it to look good. Thanks Dawn!

Happened to be lucky enough to get one of Dawn's cancellation spots while in Destin on vacation (it took some phone tag to do it). She did a wonderful job on my teenage daughter's hair. It was exactly the cut we asked for. She used to teach for Matrix and did lots of teaching to help my daughter take good care of her beautifully thick hair. That was very helpful info. It was nice to "interview" a local about what life is like to live in this beautiful area. She answered lots of my questions. : ) The haircut/style took about 1hour and the charge before tip was $45. Thanks Dawn!

Dawn has been doing my hair since 1999, it's frightening to think how much I've paid her over the years :) Once a month x 12 months x 14 years OUCH! The early days I was very experimental and basically let Dawn do whatever she wanted with my cut, color etc...(not so much anymore I am officially boring). However, I was always pleased with the results. Since I've known Dawn she has continued her education ultimately becoming a master colorist and educator herself. The shop is small and has one employee, Veronica who is very sweet and has been doing hair forever. She did my hair once when Dawn wasn't available and did a great job. One Tip: Make an appointment, especially in the winter when the snowbirds are here.

Dawn is awesome. This was my second haircut and, for the second time, I loved it. She took the time to listen to what I wanted the first time and got it right. My second visit she remembered me and knew exactly how I wanted it cut.
