It’s very educational though not big. It covers a variety of topics from the history of Destin, fishing and rodeo, scuba diving, sea shells and more. It’s definitely worth visiting. Plenty of interactive displays for children.

Such a cute little museum that offers all the history you need to understand how Destin Florida was established.
The DH&FM features the history of our early pioneers and the evolution of the fishing industry, over 100 mounts of locally caught fish, Rodeo Gallery featuring "all things Destin Fishing Rodeo", and Heritage Park with two restored boats, net reel and first post office. Interactive and hands-on exhibits. Tours that are self-guided, audio or individualized.
