I want to personally recognize Shanel Paulis for her outstanding customer service! I’ve spent so many hours frustrated trying to gain access to my online account…passed from one person to another & technical support with no joy & no follow up for over a year. That is until I had the good fortune of finding a very competent & caring Shanel! She showed what hometown service should look like & always followed through when she said she would. Thank you & Hancock Whitney you need all your representatives to be as committed, caring, & dedicated as Shanel!

I have been with this Bank over 20 years. I have to brag on my local branch & the Financial Center Leader, Shanel. She has went above & beyond for my business & personal needs/accounts. I cannot say thank you enough. If you have any banking needs please go see her. You won't be disappointed!!

If you want to buy a property with a heloc loan do not use this bank. I have an over 800 credit score and make good money so I qualified. They almost cost me to loose my investment property. Shanel Paulus kept asking for the same documents over and over and then would not respond for weeks after you sent them. Then if you had a question she would not respond. My realtor and I constantly were reaching out and getting ignored while we are on a timed schedule. I had to extend on contract and they still were going over and asking for the same documents. Luckily I found another way to get the money in less than a week and got my property... while they were still taking almost 2 months to get my heloc loan. I don't know if they are incompetent, the underwriter doesn't know what they are doing, or what, but don't use them if you want to get money. Go another route.

Have been with this bank for 25 years starting with People’s First, Destin, Hancock and now Hancock Whitney for my business Emerald Coast Motor Cars in Destin. They still have a lot of old school customer service that smaller banks provide to us locals. They are struggling with staffing issues and pandemic restrictions so be understanding with their service in today’s crazy world. Will be a customer with them forever.Stan Hall

Don't know what the reason is for the poor reviews, the people at this bank location have always been very pleasant to deal with, especially a gentleman named Wade Lueck. He is a professional and very helpful young man, definitely upper management material.

Cindy Garrad is completely unprofessional, unethical and isn’t a reliable loan officer. In consumer lending they have to tell you why you don’t qualify and The ‘doesn’t qualify’ statement was followed up by Cindy calling the listing agent to tell them that their buyer wasn’t going to get approved to build on the lot. 100% she should not have called the listing agent. That’s beyond messed up. It’s discriminatory lending

The 'just doesn't qualify because i said so' statement was followed up by Cindy calling the listing agent on the property I placed an offer on to tell them that their buyer wasn't going to get approved to build on the lot. 100% she should not have called the listing agent. That's beyond messed up and It's discriminatory lending. I have reported Hancock Whitney and Cindy Garrad to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. It's unfair of her to meddle in a real estate sale that doesn't involve her

I specifically drove 45mins to this location only to scramble around looking for their location as it is wrong. Their info online only states they do drive thru only so I was in the drive and exactly at 4 when they'd closed after scrambling to find the correct location. Even though I've spoken to an employee at the time of their closing, with how much trouble I had to jump through hoops to go this location. They did not bother to do anything. Like quickly cash a check for the client since I've wasted so much time already. I'd be before they closed had their info was correct. Very disappointed in the extreme lack of customer service.

Not the greatest customer service. The teller was rude and did not even apologize for her behavior(which she created in a first place, since I explained what I needed her to do).Unprofessional. But I guess when you get stuck with the bank - all you have to do is to deal with that.People at the drive through are much more faster with their mind and do a great job. Will use them from now on.

Worst Customer Service ever ! it's not a bank level customer service, even local flea market salesman does better job ! Cheap Communication with Clients ! I choosed them bcz I'm a local and I tought they will do great service. Very disappointed ! it's seems like someone specifically want to kill this bank ! If they will keep that kind a behavior with customers they will loose the bussiness !

I WASN'T HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I WAS RECEIVING AND WAS ASKING QUESTIONS (QUITE STANDARD) A COUPLE OF OTHER CUSTOMERS WALKED IN AND WERE AGREEING WITH ME, ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE WAS A VERY LARGE INTIMIDATING MAN BEHIND ME WHO SAID "WOULD YOU STEP INTO MY OFFICE," WHO I IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED. I ASKED HIM A FEW SIMPLE QUESTIONS ABOUT SOME BANKING POLICIES AND ASKED TO SEE THEM WHICH HE COULDN'T PRODUCE, OR EXPLAIN. I HAD TO ASK FOR A INCONVENIENTLY PLACED BUSINESS CARD WITH CORLEY MARCELIN RELATIONSHIP BANKER. VERY INTIMIDATING AND LACKED THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE I WOULD NOT GO INSIDE THIS BRANCH, IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THEY ASSIGN PEOPLE UNQUALIFIED TO BE IN REAL CITIES TO SMALL COMMUNITIES WHERE THEY WILL REMAIN HIDDEN FOR YEARS.
