155 Stahlman Ave, DestinMy dog needed a teeth cleaning and has had some bumps pop up over the years that needed to be removed. The Village Vet and Dr Nesius brought him in and treated him like their own. They took great care of him and called multiple times during the day with updates to keep me informed. The staff was very welcoming and Dr. Nesius was great. If you want a vet who makes your animal feel like family, loved, and cared for, I definitely recommended the Village Vet, Dr. Nesius, and her staff.

900 Airport Rd, DestinWe just moved here and had a recommendation from a vet friend back home for this place. Everyone was super sweet to my girl, and she got a lot of pets and loves, which made her very at ease, enough for her to splat the floor while waiting!? Dr Hardin was great and sat and talked to me about her medical history and what all she was in for today. I felt very at ease with the staff and doctor. We live in ValP but this clinic is worth the drive into Destin!

Banfield Pet Hospital
34940 Emerald Coast Pkwy Ste 160, DestinI started taking my dog to Banfield when he was 8 weeks old, he is now 10 yrs old. We started in Colorado and then moved to the Destin office 3 yrs ago. I love that with my plan he gets all his shots, extensive comprehensive exams every six months, free office visits, and yearly a dental cleaning. He has always gotten the best care there. The Vet even called me the next day to check on ME… after a not so good report that made me emotional the day before. I would definitely recommend Banfield to anyone, and I do.

Granted, they were very busy, but the hostess at the time of our visit was a bit standoff-ish. I always try to give individuals the benefit of the doubt, but I believe that customer service is only quality under those stressful circumstances. Perhaps a few more stress-test situations for host stand staff would elevate the restaurant? Side note, the valet staff were WORKING THEIR BUTTS OFF! I had a 5 month old with me, and I couldn’t have imagined faster service from valet staff, all with a huge smile and manners. Most definitely the MVPs being the first and last people you see!

We ordered several appetizers and entrees, all of the food was brought out in a timely manner and everything was delicious. You can tell they really take their time to make sure the ingredients are high quality, too. The cocktails are tasty as well. I’ll be thinking about the tavern tacos long after our vacation has ended. The vibes were unmatched! Definitely check them out if you’re in the area.
