Plato's Closet in Destin, FL, is a well-organized and clean thrift store offering a variety of upper-level merchandise, mainly apparel and accessories. Customers appreciate the store's neatness and the color-coordinated displays that make browsing enjoyable. While the store primarily features women's clothing, there are notable brand-name items and treasures to discover for those willing to search.
Many reviews suggest that the store is a good option for quick sales of unwanted clothing, though some customers feel they received lower offers compared to platforms like Facebook Marketplace. The friendly but busy staff assist shoppers, though a warmer welcome would enhance the experience. Prices can vary, with some items costing more than expected for secondhand clothes, yet they often remain cheaper than local competitors like Goodwill. They had a ton of great stuff. The staff was super friendly I couldn’t have asked for more friendly stuff.

Prices are on the high side at this location. Most of the racks were labeled with correct sizes. Store had a musty smell to it when you walk in. Variety could be better. Offered more of Walmart and SHEIN clothing.
