Banfield always provides great service to my pets! I have them on special plans that help cover the costs of some treatments and exams. very helpful for pet maintenance (vaccines, dental cleanings) especially!

We have had Banfield for a while for all of our pets , one of our dogs had been under treatment with this particular Banfield , and yesterday she took a turn for the worst , we called them and the person who answered the phone put us on hold and when came back to the line told us they were to full to see her , but would be able to make an appt for the following day . We ended up driving to a animal hospital farther away , our dog didn't make it , she died in the car ride on the way. This after spending thousands of dollars on different treatments and asking the vet (women ) it maybe it was time to stop and let her go , and the vet telling us not yet ! At the animal hospital they exames my dogs body and her belly was full of blood as she had internal bleeding , and as per the vet it had to have been going on for a little while . The vets and staff at this location were more I treated and making money , I highly recommend going somewhere else

I would like to begin by saying that I have never had a bad experience with Banfield and up until now I always had great things to say about it. We typically attend the Flagler office, which is a great office, however my reason for my visit was that we needed a health certificate to travel and the vet at the health office was not certified to issue us one.We were sent over to the Doral office (5875 NW 105th Ct Ste 105, Doral, FL 33178) because the vet there was certified and we were able to be seen that same day. After I dropped off my pet I was told I would be called no later than 6 because that is the closing time. I was not called, I had to call around 5:50pm and I was told that they forgot to call but she was ready for pick up. When I arrived to pick her up I was told she would be right out, I received my cat at 7pm and was the last one to leave and additionally to all of this the front desk lady was extremely rude. Upon receiving my cat I was told tests were fine however when they did the fecal test, they realized she had pooped in her carrier and they just took it from there. When I looked into her carrier after I was told that, my cat and the entire carrier was covered in feces. There was feces stuck everywhere on her body and some of it had dried up so you can tell she was in it for a while. There was no attempt or assistance in cleaning it up and they gave her back to me covered in poop and had no explanation as to why or why they did not try to at least have the decency to clean it up a little bit. This was negligence to my animal. She was there for about 3 hours and they just left her in her poop and it was everywhere. She had it in her ears, face, belly, everywhere and she has NEVER done that in the one year that I have had her and she was not there for very long for this to have happened like that. I am disappointed with the staff and those who were supposed to care for my pet as they did a very poor job and left a poor cat to sit in her poop for 3 hours.

Dissatisfied to say the least. Had an appointment at 12:30 PM to have our cat checked for a follow up. We arrived early and they took almost 5 hours to get back to us. 15 min before close they call us to say he's ready, I arrive as soon as I can and the young lady says wait you have a charge. We already pay $55 a month for god knows what so I wasn't expecting this. I should have know because every time they charge us an excessive amount money and try to upsell something each and every time. But then was charged another $50 for arriving late, 20 min, Miami traffic has no exceptions, with no heads up! After they had us wait almost 5 hours for a follow up! Whatever I pay, and I'm like okay so what do I need to do with my cat next? The receptionist answers with a ughhhhh I don't know. For the money I'm paying I would expect a nicer response. It was not our fault we were called 15 min before close. I never take the time to leave reviews because we all have bad days but beware of lengthy wait times and high prices and rude customer service!!

This location and staff make it very difficult to obtain medication for my dog. I will not be returning and recommend you go somewhere else. They want you to drop off the dog and never even see the veterinarian. The place is a scam to force pet owners to pay exorbitant check up prices which are required to order medications. The staff then make it extremely difficult and complicated to even get those prescriptions placed and ordered.Zero stars if it was an option.

Nice vets but front staff is very unprofessional.Today I had to drop off my dog before work at 7am, and I was the only one waiting but the front staff was chitchatting on the phone about rent prices in the Keys being too high, a totally private, nonbusiness conversation, while I just sat there and wasted time.Then when I pick up my dog, I pay, and as I’m leaving the front desk is chitchatting on the phone again, which didnt seem to matter at the time.Then I get a phone call once I’m already driving saying that I forgot my medicine, which they never told me about.I come back and ask why they didnt give me the medicine and the young redhead says “i thought youd want something you paid for. Besides, I was on the phone”Twice in one day the front desk chitchatting on the phone, either delayed me or I had to be the recipient of attitude due to their own fault.I get someone chitchatting early in the morning when they didnt expect a customer, but attitude? Unacceptable.

The place was dirty, I asked and they said it was because they have too many dogs and they only clean every few hours (I had to clean and disinfect the table myself). The wait was around 2 hours (with an appointment). On top of that, I never saw the Vet... even questions were thru the nurse going back & forth. Never going back there! I wish there was an option for zero stars!

The vet who treated the cat in December at the Hialeah headquarters was the worst. He should not practice this profession. he just wanted to collect and without knowing that he had raised the cost of what he paid monthly. Then I called to cancel the service due to the death of the pet and they said that the contract could not be terminated and it was just being renewed. They are the worstEl veterinario de Hialeh es el peor. Un senor cubano que solo hizo subir el valor de la cobertura. Llamo a cancelar el servicio y dijeron no era posible asi la mascota haya muerto. Un ano mas pagandoles por nada.

Constantly trying to Upsell, the health plan is a complete RACKET.My dog has been has had allergies her entire life and recently was having another episode with pyoderma, March 2023. I found out after researching pyoderma requires a 4+ week round of oral antibiotics. The first time she was seen March (Miami Lakes) they only gave her a 2 week supply of the antibiotics and of course the pyoderma came right back. Two weeks ago I called Miami Lakes, told them the situation and they had me bring her in again for a Cytopoint injection (for itching) to the tune of $65; instead of another round of antibiotics.Today I visited the Doral location for a 4+ week round of antibiotics and I felt pushed for additional services, fecal testing which she doesn'tneed, wanting to # of months I had of my heartworm prevention which I buy somewhere else, and suggesting I change my dogs food to thier brand; plus allergy testing $400??? I felt completely worked over by these people...Do these offices and folks have a $$$ quota per dog??? I know it's a business...But Jeez...They were RELENTLESS!!Finally, after what seemed like forever the vet saw my dog, said he would prescribe 4 weeks of antibiotics and a steroid.Now back in the waiting area and after passing on MORE services; fecal test. (My dog takes monthly prevention for this also...) suddenly I'm informed the vet changed his mind about the treatment we agreed upon. NOW, he wants to give her a shot of antibiotics $85 and then see her AGAIN in 2 weeks for ANOTHER office visit and another $85 shot of antibiotics. Which means, ANOTHER $300+ after Miami Lakes failed the first 2 visits which cost me about $400.00 for what could have been originally cleared up with the CORRECT dose of antibiotics.I explained the vet that I wanted to got with what we originally agreed to, which was the 28 day antibiotics and a steroid. He refused, said he was the vet and that this was his recommendation, after previosly agreeing otherwise. I told him that I was the dogs OWNER, no shots, I wanted the 4 weeks of antibiotics/steroid and that I was leaving if he would not give me the medicine we agreed to. He refused and I walked out without my pets medicine.Canceling my Banfield Pet Care Plan and using Dutch (online) from now on.

The people who work in the front desk and book the appointments don’t communicate effectively they don’t ask questions about the type of appointment you want to get, they assume you know how bandfield works as if we are apart of the staff, Yoremy was very rude this morning and apparently the manager is not always working at the location. Terrible service

Took my 7 lb yorkie for his annual check up since he had the Bandfield wellness plan. When i go to pick him up he was covered in urine from head to toe and completely disheveled. It is as if he was kept in a cage with a puddle of urine long enough for the urine to settle in his hair and dry completely.
