The atmosphere at this place is consistently warm and cozy. Their staff members are not only friendly but also incredibly competent. The quality of their products always exceeds my expectations, which is why I consider myself a regular here. However, I felt compelled to leave a review because of one exceptional staff member, Lorena, who noticed my frown and turned it into a smile with her hospitality. This place will always be my go-to "Cheers" bar! The management does an excellent job in hiring and training their staff.

Go for the Carolina Shrimp and cold beer! Everything else is just your typical sports bar stuff. Still prefer Miller's Ale House.

We had the 2 varsity cheeseburgers and the French dip that came with French onion soup and went on a reviewer's recommendation of the fried cheese curds and the spinach dip. All excellent. They have so many beers on tap. I had never seen Yuengling Flight on tap anywhere and it was 3 dollars during happy hour. Our server was Wences. He was great and the bartender too- friendly and did a great job. We loved the open air environment with fans. It was a warm day but the most comfortable we have been at a restaurant in our 2 weeks of vacation.

We have been to many Carolina Ale Houses in North Carolina. The ambience is quite different there than in Doral. We were actually on our way to Miller's Ale House in Doral. We have been there several times and always had great experiences there. But we drove by the Carolina Ale House and decided to stop there. When we walked up to the restaurant at about 5pm we expected to go inside but it seemed like the employees were all working out on the patio and no one was inside. We went inside to look and there were no customers inside, and consequently no employees working inside either. We wanted to sit at the bar inside but it was evident that we were probably not going to be served for quite some time, as all the employees were working outside. Besides, the A/C was blowing about 59 degrees inside so we opted to sit outside on the patio. The patio was basically a drunken debauchery with extremely loud music and people dancing and screaming all about. Definitely not what we expected from a Carolina Ale House.

Our server Jocelyn was probably the only good thing about our visit. She was attentive and very sweet.... The Floors were dirty and overall appearance was not inviting. Food was about a 2 out of 10. The ribeye was actually the worst I have ever had. I never leave steak on my plate but this time was more than happy to leave 3/4 of it right there. Hadn't been there in years and honestly may not go back the next time we are in the area. Kind of explains why all other restaurants in the area had over an hour wait but here we literally walked right in and sat because there were only 2 other tables sat inside. Just a suggestion but with new restaurants popping up in your area, you might want to step up your game.

Update March 2024:The CAH has now become our Miami farewell restaurant. In 2020, 2022, 2024 we always stopped there before going to the airport. You won't be pushed around, you can enjoy a few delicious beers until you drive to the airport and have one last meal. Unfortunately not in 2025, when it goes directly from the ship to the airport.Large selection of beer. Enjoy your meal. You can sit inside and in an open area. All very nice. Wifi access. Good way to pass the time before departure.

Come with me to Carolina Ale House located in Doral, FL. In my early twenties, this was a go-to spot for me and my friends since they have a great selection of food and drinks, great prices, and are open late. I came in to check out their Happy Hour specials and stayed to try some of their amazing apps and desserts. From the Happy Hour Specials I had Pretzel Bites, Chicken Tostada, and a cheeseburger. The cheeseburger and the pretzel bites were my favorites, the cheeseburger was well-cooked and juicy and the pretzel bites came with a great cheese dip. I also tried their Beer Batter Cheese Curds, Chicken Nachos, Bacon Cheese Fries, Artisan 5-Cheese Spinach Dip, and for dessert the Macked Out Doughnuts. The Beer Batter Cheese curds were great and came with a pepper jam. The 5 Cheese Spinach Dip is still as good as ever. The Nachos come in a generous portion great for a group or for one if you are up for a challenge. The Macked Out Doughnuts were soft, fluffy, and had a well-balanced amount of sweetness. Overall, Carolina Ale House Doral is still amazing. Their service is always friendly, attentive, and kind. I will certainly be back for those happy hour specials and my other favorites.
