I had purchased a 4 pack of the pumpkin spice Dunkin drink and went I went home to try them it tasted rancid and not good at all. Almost as if they had gone bad. I only opened one can and the remaining 3 were in the box.
I went to total wine where I purchased it with my receipt and asked if there’s anyway to return or exchange these as they tasted expired/rotten and just not good and the cashier told me she had to call her manager which I thought was already strange to begin with. The manager comes and she tells me unfortunately she can’t take the return or give me any store credit because if it is expired or rancid then she can’t place it on the shelves and sell it and the store wont make any money off of it. It immediately threw me back because as a store manager, customer service comes first not disregarding the fact that I purchased something that is clearly rancid.
Then she suggests if I have a Halloween party just to gift it to friends, that they would appreciate it.
I told her I’m pretty sure something is wrong with these cans and it would be a safety issue doing that and she said that no one would have to know that.
It was rude, it was inconsiderate. I go to this Total Wine store multiple times a year. We go to get gifts for birthday and Christmas and I always do holiday parties and it’s my first stop to by beer or liquor but that experience was absolutely awful.

Incredible that I couldn't buy 3 measly boxes of whiskey, 3 of wine and 2 of champagne for my 3 companies' December gifts because I had a limit. I explained to the Manager that they are different companies operating in the USA and he told me that he had a limit and I could not buy 3 boxes but only one. Then I showed him that they are different companies, he also told me: it is the same owner. When I told him I would buy somewhere else
It turned out that I could do it online, and I could withdraw them. I don't understand that absurd way of working. I will never step foot in that liquor store again. The service is TERRIBLE. One star is too much for that attention!!

What a terrible management. I placed an online order and went to pick it up curbside. I received my order and someone else's order as well (I did not notice about receiving someone else's order as well). I get a call about 20 minutes later informing me that I have received someone else's box in addition to mine, if I can please return it (because it had an expensive bottle of wine in it) and in consideration for the inconvenience I would be given a bottle of 818 Tequila. As one of the few good human beings in Miami, I took the box back (the next day) and "no one knew" about me being given the complimentary bottle of tequila. They gave me a $30 bottle of wine instead. At this point, it's not about the tequila it's about the lack of consideration, honesty and decency that no employee including management had in the store. Terrible management and lack of professionally to commit to something that was said, and the way we were spoken to was rude.
