I specifically chose this location because a friend of mine lives near this place and we were going to meet up the next morning so I ordered a 2 pack of headlights for my low beams on my car. One light was already out. So my friend gives me the light and there is only 1 light , with a receipt. ? Really. So I call the store. Yes, bring it back. How inconvenient this was because I had to drive out of my way 17 miles at night to this location. The clerk was sitting on the floor. Had me wait over 5 mins before she even helped me. It took her less than a min to get me what I originally ordered. It was about 830 or so pm. I asked if someone could help me and she stated that there were only 2 employees there and one was already outside helping another customer, that one employee had to stay in side and it was closing time... So now I've had to bug my friends and pay to have my headlight replaced so I can drive my 36 mile trip home. Thanks Advance.

My battery had failed. I had to jumpstart my truck to get to the Advance Auto Parts. When I got there I explained that I got stranded the night before and had to call AAA for roadside assistance. The issue was already diagnosed as a bad battery. I understand that the Advance Auto Parts employee has to check the battery for themselves before honoring any kind of warranty. The employee was very hard to understand. I had to keep asking her to repeat what she said. After using the test pack with the vehicle off the employee stated that the battery was good and it must be my alternator according to the automated message on their test pack. I then explained that both myself and the AAA technician collected data the night before indicating that the alternator was outputting voltage in a normal range. The Advance Auto Parts employee then told me that she could see that the alternator was at fault on the test pack. I then asked how can the alternator be tested when the truck was not running?! I was then met with a look of confusion as she went to get what I assume to be the manager. He began to explain that my battery was good and it must be my alternator and/or starter. I then asked how does the test work without the truck running. He asked the other employee if the truck was running during the testing to which she replied no. Then the manager type person asked the other employee to get the jumpstart pack to start the truck. The test took longer than expected and both employees disappeared back into the store. After close to an hour of total time since my arrival there, the employees decided that they would honor the replacement warranty. Only then was my information collected and I was given a replacement battery. The employee then offered to install the battery but based on their ineptitude during testing and willingness to blame every other part of my truck for the failure I opted to install the battery myself.
This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at Advance Auto Parts. Very poor customer service. I feel that someone less knowledgeable would have possibly spent a lot of money to fix parts that weren’t broken or had to get a mechanic involved costing time and money. Please train your employees better. I’ve been a customer for approximately 35 years and this was the end of that.

My car battery went out had to go get it replaced and the guy at counter was no help at all when I told him the name it was under his hold aditud changed he said it would take him to long to find the information and told me to come back in the morning when the big boss come in really and it's still has a warranty

?10:01am September 11th, I received a $164 ?ticket (PCSO) for having 2 brake lights out (Lake Wales, not Dundee). ? My window brake light was functioning. . . Thank you Deputy D.?️?I drove to my destination [ volunteering at ?The FREEDOM Tour, Eagle Ridge Mall ]; Straight to ADVANCE AUTO Parts [ Dundee ]. I ordered 2 brake light bulbs for 2006 Toyota. $13; and ✝️GOD told me Not To Drive Anywhere; until,I Replace the Bulbs. †?? I Listened; I Did. . . .Well; because the? door jam states 2006, and the engine compartment stated 2007; I received the wrong bulbs. ?I Went Back Inside and exchanged my Warranteed bulbs for 2007. I Replaced both bulbs myself, with no help from You Tube ??♀️. Thank YOU ✝️GOD, I Did Not Drive Away. Thank YOU ✝️GOD for my safe travels and working bulbs. Thank You ADVANCE AUTO Team for helping me purchase the proper bulbs.THANK ✝️GOD ???? for No accidents & No injuries. THANK YOU ✝️LORD ?????

I came in to get a battery for my car, and didn't know what I was looking for. A gentleman named demas helped me get a battery and even helped me put it in the car. 10/10 would recommend this store.
