I recently had a manicure and pedicure done by Mai, she did an amazing job! Everyone there is friendly and professional with a comfortable spa-like environment. Creative Nails was recommended by two of my friends, and I would also recommend it.
I also like that it's family owned and run and in Delightful Dunedin

This was my first (and unfortunately, last) visit to Creative Nails II. I came in based on a friend’s recommendation to see Tina. As a new customer, I was hoping for a friendly and welcoming experience, but Tina was more reserved and not especially friendly, which surprised me.
I requested Polygel nails and specifically asked that they not be too thick. I also showed her a photo of the shape I wanted. While she applied the product, there seemed to be minimal effort in shaping or filing. When she asked if I was happy with the shape, I pointed out a few nails that needed to be fixed. After a couple of adjustments, I stopped asking, realizing I likely wouldn't get the look I was going for, and figured I’d just reshape them at home.
The polish color was fine, but when I got home and really examined my nails, I was disappointed—they were far thicker than I had requested. I texted Tina politely to ask if she could file them down, and while she said she could, she also warned that filing might cause chipping or breakage and that any repairs would be at an additional charge. The earliest she could take me was Thursday (this was on Sunday). After I reminded her that I had asked for thinner nails from the beginning, her response was more considerate, but by then, I had already decided I wouldn't return.
I paid $60 for the service and left a 20% tip—which I now regret. The quality of the work and the overall experience did not reflect what I paid. Sadly, this salon just isn’t for me.

Scheduled myself, her future mother-in-law and mydaughterforwedding mani/pedis. Tina did superb nails for the bride. Eddie, Tracy and Mei we’re helpful and did great French nails and dip. We were seen on time. I’m very happy with our experience.

Liz is so wonderfully talented and patient. She takes the time to listen to what I want and she remembers what I want. Liz has a great artist eye, I show her a picture of what I would like and she recreates the picture better and more accommodating to my nail style. All of the staff is wonderful and attentive.

I have used this salon’s services for 7 years. They are all very kind, accommodating and offer a full menu of nail services- including incredible nail art by Tina, as well as many permanent makeup options, facials, waxing, etc. Highly recommend!
