My wife scraped the rim of her car on a curb which caused an approximately a 3 inch x 1/2 inch scratch to the paint. I searched for rim repair shops in the area and Gulfside Reconditioning showed up with good reviews but a limited number of them. I didn't let the lack of reviews steer me away. These folks did a great job on the rim and you can't tell that there was a scratch. Price was reasonable and workmanship was great. Would highly recommend. Hopefully don't have to repair anymore rims, but if you have the misfortune of scraping your rim and need it repaired, I wouldn't hesitate to take it here.

Greg \\u0026 crew do a terrific job at a fair price. I've been going to Gulfside for 4-5yrs. They have a lot of auto reconditioning services. I mainly have had bent \\u0026/or cracked aluminum wheels reconditioned. I highly recommend them. ??️?

At first I was hesitant because of the lack of reviews on this Yelp page but do not let that turn you away. Greg and his son did quality work for me in under an hour while I waited. I had severe curb rash on one tire and minor chips on two others. Initially, they drove out to me for a mobile repair but due to a lack of proper power source were unable to do it but their shop was close by and they took me in right away when I was able to make it out. Very courteous and professional, explained what they would be doing and how it would look as if nothing had ever happened. Really glad I took my car here. Greg even saw a tiny rock chip on the wheel that wasn't being serviced and took care of it for me. Overall, the price was really fair and you receive top-quality service.

I contacted this company after 6 other places wouldn't call me back or the price for "Curb Damage" was stupid. Let me tell everyone! Jim does an Amazing Job, absolutely Professional, 28 years in the business! I 100% Recommend Jim at "Gulfside Reconditioning" My Rim on my Hellcat Widebody Challenger came out PERFECT!! He absolutely knows his quality of work and even Touched up two Tiny Spots on the other Rims bc he had the paint and less then 5 mins to do something Nice that I didn't even notice.Jim earned my business 100%. I recommend everyone here that I know to this place that needs paint and bodywork done! I’ve been to gulfside reconditioning a few times now and as an person who painted cars for close to 10 years I can say they do good quality work! Clean shop environment and friendly atmosphere with a professional spray booth and expensive cars every where you look! They are the best in the Tampa bay area

I hit a curb and scratched two of my charcoal rims and had a few spots that needed to be buffed out on my paint. They did an excellent job and were super quick/affordable. I will be coming back if I have any further incidences.

We had a very good experience there. My Fiancé scratched the wheel on her brand new VW Beatle convertible and the team at Gulfside Reconditioning did an amazing job fixing the damage. And the price was more than fair for all the work they had with it. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

I had a great experience, I was very impressed with the friendliness and knowledge of all of the folks I interacted with. Very professional crew. Hit a curb with my car and bent the rim throwing off the alignment. He looked at my car very closely and even went out of his way to help determine all the damaged components. He straightened out my bent rim and gave excellent advice to save money. Very satisfied.

Mike Lane, the guy who took care of my car, was phenomenal. The prices are great and fair and the work that was done exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Gulfside to anybody for body repairs, paint, and EVEN custom work! I have had all 3 done and will not be going anywhere else!!!

BEWARE!! We were quoted a price by BOTH owners , even written down in their books as a done deal price! After dropping the car off, later that day a mechanic named Mike called and said he wouldn't repair our bumper for that price that was promised. When I called back one of " the owners", he promised they would still honor that price even if they had to take a loss....they kept my car for ANOTHER 24 hours,( thinking they were working on the repair)... They weren't!!!.... The NEXT DAY, the same mechanic called back and said he refused to do the work for that price! I actually had to call the Police, who met us there to get my car back....such a mess...would NEVER recommend ANY of their services! They also have an AWFUL reputation with other Body Shops and Auto Parts stores in the area...Wish I did my research first!...UPDATE..The response from the "shadey owner" was inaccurate! I CALLED THE POLICE ON THEM...PERIOD!!!! There is a call record with the Sheriff's Department... I called and met the Officer/Cpl/Deputy there!! ..THE POLICE were there on MY BEHALF..and to make sure that I got my Infiniti (car) back in the same condition without having to deal with those scammers anymore! The Officer NEVER TOLD ME THE PRICE I WAS QUOTED WAS UNREASONABLE... We noticed that all of the mechanics fled like cockroaches when I showed up with the Police..hmmmm....that was odd.....The Officer had them get my keys and wanted me to inspect the car to make sure they didn't further damage it .... The Scammy owner tried to insinuate in his response to this review that the Police just showed up.....The Sheriff's Department Dispatch has the call log and the report # from my request for a Deputy to meet us at Gulfside Reconditioning. I will call and advise the Corporal who was on the call to read the owner's response and his false remarks regarding the Corporals statements while on the scene...

I just had a scratched rim repaired, you can't even tell it was ever scratched, very prompt service and excellent work, highly recommend them.
