“Ever since I moved to this area and started using this Publix pharmacy I have had themost professional and friendly helpful servicefrom every pharmacy employee but the onewho tops the list is Amelia. I always look for her first. She goes above and beyondto be helpful. She is lovely.Unfortunately, today I experienced the most unpleasant, nasty treatment by Taylor. I won’t go into detail but I never want to interact with her again. Maybe she is insecure and enjoysfeeling powerful. In the future, I will avoid her if at all possible.”

“We go there at least once a month. We live in Ellenton so what does that tell you (the destance we travel for Great Hungarian cooking). Our first buy is their deep fried bacon, then their stuffed Cabbage rolls. Then lastly is their paprikash bacon. To die for. Very friendly and helpfull. Their bakery is also soooooooo good.”

“I just happen to drive by this place last weekend. Today I made a point to go there to check it out. The prime rib roast that I normally pay $20/lb at the supermarkets is $9.49/lb. there all the time. The owner, Julio, brought out a roast from the back to show me. He said he can custom cut to any size. They have a huge selection of spices, various meats, restaurant cooking supplies, etc. He and his wife are very pleasant and accommodating. I bought some boneless chicken breasts and spices for now, but I will definitely be back.”

“This is the best Publix between Dunedin, Largo, Clearwater and St Pete. I’ve been to over 25 Publix in the last 13 years and this is by far the friendliest staff and the best service.I love the meat and fish department staff. They are incredible and they always are very honest and extremely helpful. They work very hard to try to bring in fresh produce every single day.The deli department I don’t deal with as much, but a few encounters I have had have been extremely helpful and very service oriented.The Produce team is also amazing and they will always go in the back to search for something. If you can’t find it out on the shelves, I would say that I go to five different organic stores and Publix consistently has the best organic produce.I recently got my daughter, a birthday cake from the bakery shaped like a cat face made out of cupcakes and it did not disappoint. They literally made a four-year-old girls birthday very memorable and they did it overnight!”

“I live right around the corner but tried this place for the first time a couple weeks ago. I went in specifically looking for a brisket. They had a brisket exactly the size I was looking for. It was less than half the price compared to Publix and the quality was great. I will be back.”

“Picked up a ham for Thanksgiving. Dinner with family. And it was the hit of the dinner. Always top notch and delicious.After the dinner we divided up the ham slices to family members, along with turkey and a dozen casseroles. Great sandwiches for several days.Being a Southern boy I kept the bone with a little ham on it for an overnight crockpot of pinto beans and ham with cornbread, onions and jalapeños. It was delicious!My wife also bought a ham bone she put in freezer. Last night I did another overnight crock pot. This bone was huge! After cooking I removed the bones and several big chunks of ham. After cooling I picked the meat off to put in freezer for next batch. There had to be 2 pounds of meat separated, with the same amount still in the pot .I also put a can of refried beans in the mix to flavor and thicken the soup. YUM! Again with the same accompaniments. My wife and I had a bowl each and plenty leftover to share with family!”

“Yes it's a little run down but the food is amazing, we love the chicken wings, chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, fish sandwiches and their fries. Yes a lot of people hang out down there, but everyone is really friendly. I don't really care what they are doing hanging out there, no one bothers me. Mike is great, my kids go there all the time. If they come up short he always helps them out. I have not tried their meat yet but I was talking to Mike about it and will be trying them out soon.”
