Home of the bait and switch. They advertise great prices on meat for their Friday, Saturday and Sunday only sale. Problem is, they don't have any of the advertised meat in stock. I have tried Friday am and pm. Saturday am and pm and Sunday as well. Manager says he can't control what comes in on the trucks. So it must be a corporate thing to advertise special sales to draw traffic into the stores and then not deliver their "loss leader" products to the stores for sale.I pay more at Publix but I find everything I came for each time I go there.

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to shop with a limited selection of items this is the place for you. If you are looking for a place where the bathrooms are not thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis this is also the place for you. Perhaps someone should suggest to the employees that the feminine product bins be emptied on a regular basis. That way when a person tries to throw something away in one of them they don't have to see the same disgusting things that were in it a month ago

Very good. This is a clean store with competent and friendly employees. The produce section is always arranged nicely. Could use a few more organic offerings in the meat department.

This was my first time in a Winn Dixie; I grew up in NY, and Publix and Walmart were closer to my college when I moved down to Florida. But now since relocating to Dunedin, this one is the closest to me. I was very annoyed to learn their advertised sales only count if you have a Winn Dixie loyalty card. I didn't think the shelf tags clearly advertised that, so the "savings" weren't there. I was also put off by the crowded aisles. I'm not sure if I was there mid-delivery or if it was normally this way, but rows of soda, water, juice, etc. were on the floor in front of the shelves, stacked as if they were mini-displays, but it made the aisles felt tight and overcrowded. The flower section here was disappointing, as was some of the produce in the produce section. If people start panic-buying toilet paper again I might stop here during desperate times, but otherwise I'll stick to farmers markets, Publix, and Walmart.

This review is for the Palm Harbor store in Florida . I have given Winn-Dixie my hard earned money and many chances but each time I visit, it ends in a wierd and unsettling experience. An employee dropped a soup next to me which splattered all over my pants. I wasn't that mad but his behavior was so bizarre. He refused to look at me, apologize or actually even acknowledge my existence even though i was standing right next to him. I went to check out and asked for a paper towel so I wouldn't get soup in my car. I explained what happened and the cashier laughed and snickered about it. Seems to be run my immature high school kids. They also have these maddening cards you have to bring everytime you check out to get anything on sale. Apparently you get money back towards groceries except my card doesn't work and no one at the store has a remote clue how to fix the issue. Went back today only to witness the goon squad (3-4 employees) chasing a tiny bird around the store trying to catch it with their bare hands or a huge plastic bag. Um, how about you geniuses open the door and direct it out? No. Let's exhaust the tiny creature instead. Most bizarre place ever. Their selection of produce and products always falls short. Lesson learned. Publix it is!
