“I got here at 8:30. Very long line. Parking lot was nearly full. Only poor Kenneth is checking everybody out. He had such a friendly kindest position and greeted everybody with warmth and friendliness and not a single person complain. The kid did a great job. Probably could use another helper though. But he managed it like a champ. This was not a messy Dollar general. I needed a hammer. It's only $0.50 more than Walmart but it cut 20 minutes off my drive. Very convenient.”

“I love the Dollar Tree, it's one of my favorite stores, BUT, the phone # that is listed is a NON WORKING #!?? Sometimes i'd like to call before making the trip there to see if they have a certain item, or ask their hours ect. That's inconvenient in my opinion.”
“I went to the Bartow Dollar Tree to pick up something i saw someone bragging online about but i couldn't find it. I met a very nice associate named Tammy. She went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. I don't usually write reviews but Tammy was such a nice lady and you can tell she truly loves her job.”

“I am an out of town visitor. I like to go to stores wherever I visit. I was looking for some coffee and drink replacements that were not super expensive. I hit the jackpot here. They had every variety of what I was looking for and some I never had before.I was also looking for Sriracha which is hard to find right now. They were fully stocked and it was only $2 a bottle.This store is immaculate. Everything is in its place. It didn't look like the normal stores you visit. Other locations look like a bomb hit it because it's so junky. Not this location. Very pleasant shopping experience.”
“Staff is always polite and helpful. New products all the time. Prices can be Cheaper than Walmart. Their Brand of Cat Kibble is not nutritious, and Dog Kibble is just as bad. Dry Food has A LOT of artificial Dyes. YUCK. Not good for Carnivors, Canine, Felines or Humans.”

“This Family Dollar is a good store. Nice employees that don't make you feel bad if you have a return. The store is clean and so is the bathroom. But I don't like having to ask for a key to use it! The isles are usually clear, not to much clutter. The wait is minimal. Parking is good too.”

“I got to say whoever is at this store's manager is doing an awesome job. It's been a long time since the store actually looks very nice. I do have one problem. They need to get rid of lazy people, I asked I believe his name was Nate wouldn't show me where I might be able to find a certain cookies oatmeal cookies he had said over by the candy but then I asked another person named Dee She was very nice. She was very pleasant And took me straight to theoatmeal cookies But It aggravated me quite a lot that this young man would not help me find the cookies that my wife sent me to the store to get, if they had more people like Dee people that actually care about others and not how they can just stand around and not do nothing but for the most part, the store was very clean and it was a pleasant visit other than the gentleman that wouldn't help me. I'm an old man. My eyes are not good and my patience are not the greatest either. You need to keep whoever's running this store. The young lady said Wendy was her name I will definitely go back to this Dollar general because there's not many Dollar that I will go in I will say that you need to keep people like Wendy and Dee working to keep this store clean get rid of the lazy ones”
“This is a regular Dollar General. Why I gave it a 4 star was the check out gentleman. I had my 2 grand daughters age 4 & 7 out for a "shopping spree". They had their own money and carefully shopped. They had to make decisions to put some things back. When we got to the counter to check out they each paid for their items. The gentleman was very patient with them and Grandmom appreciated his tolerance. My next visit we'll be back to do more shopping”
“It s a Family Dollar. So that means boxes on the floor, shelves haphazard stocked, overworked staff, etc. However, they did have the Mentos gum and Monster Energy drink I wanted, and the cashier was friendly.”

“Good place to buy everything for the home, cosmetics, groceries or any merchandise necessary to decorate, repair at home. Super cheap prices although now it is 1:25 of a dollar. I recommend to everyone who visits Florida, visit one or more of the stores because you can get different items. Now the items have different prices, but it is still much cheaper than in other stores.”
“The store was cleaner than normal. Shelves were pretty well stocked. The cashier was friendly and was cleaning up while no one was at the register. When we got to the register, she came right over with a smile and a greeting. The store is definitely doing better then it used to.”

“I'm giving DG 5 stars for its hard working, stressed out employees. Let ME tell you what the problem is! I'm an over the road truck driver who trained on the DG account. My oldest daughter was training to be a store manager for them but quit. Not because she didn't like the people or job but the stress! Us drivers would show up at the stores with there delivers. Sometimes half or a 3rd of the trailer per store. Everything is pushed into the back room that most often isn't big enough because each store sells so much. The employees have to take care of the customers, stock shelves, and run register at same time. There is no time to stock! My daughter got written up twice for closing store at night and working off the clock to try and get store organized. She has OCD. It's not within her to walk away from a job unfinished. Most of the, during the day time, there is one cashier, a manager, and one other person to stock shelves AND they have to back up the cashier if needed. The managers run crazy trying to help in every area. Just put yourself in their shoes. Next time you go inside and see all that stuff in those carts. Just imagine it was your job to put all that away. You have one maybe 2 days until next truck comes in.The best way to beat this problem is do like Walmart and Home Depot. Have a night crew!!! They wouldn't have to deal with customers or money! JUST STOCK!! This way every store would be fully stocked when opening first thing each day. The day time employees would only have to deal with customers and maybe, just maybe a few items that didn't get done.It's time for DG to step it up and hire more people to better serve YOU!! In the long run DG would increase there profits! It's working for Walmart and Home Depot! Look at there quarterly sale.”

“Like this store, affordable prices and service is nice. I like the candles they sell for a dollar. I've bought candy, pound cake ,decorations, candles, bags ,cups, and more from this store all great quality price and the gift ability of the things sold here are 610 sells essentials and more. Wait time was minimal. Carts must stay inside the store . big store but its spread out so its not a big amount of products but I like it. Prices were not on fabuloso cleaning wipes so I decided not to buy due to my small budget concerned on the price. I like the dollar tree as well. Here is a photo of the candle and coastal décor I purchased here. Store is short staffed (or appears so ) masks not required but sign says they are very confusing. They do sell clothing, panties, bras ,pants ,shirts ,shoes, and its convenient in case you spill a snack or get wet . Lots of snacks .great for a quick stop on a road trip . Thanks for your wonderful store and service. Update : went today on Thursday Feb 24 2022 . again a great experience . shoes felt like better quality than Walmart.”
