Waiting on a prescription for 3 weeks, with zero notification of insurance not covering these meds. Im notified to pick them up where they proceed to let me know (after almost 3 weeks that this isnt covered). No prob, i call physican for an alternative script, also not covered (which I discover upon dling app) also no courtesy call to let me no there is still no coverage. I typically do not complain bc I understand that errors happen and insurance can be tricky but I highly recommend you going to a different pharmacy unless you're willing to put up with lack of professionalism. BTW publix was able to fill this in 30min.

Absolutely horrible pharmacy. Never fill anything on time and regularly run out of basic meds. They'll let their patients die before they give a damn to do their jobs. They should be shut down.

This CVS/Pharmacy is conveniently located right off Hwy 17. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Stephanie, at the front checkout was especially nice and helped me change my contact information in the system.

horrendous service, I understand that they're a bit under staffed down there, and things can get stressful. but all I did was try to ask some questions about how to get my prescription (which i haven't had for a week and was told by my doctor that it was available and sent down there THREE TIMES!) I tried so hard to be as nice as possible, I've never raised my voice or have gotten worked up with a service worker in my life mind you. But my questions were only met with aggravation, and at one point laughter for just wanting to understand why, and how, I should get my medication, and for wanting some help figuring out how the process work (which must be confusing since they seem to have hard time with it too, seeing as I run into issues every time I try to get my prescriptions from this CVS.) I really don't understand why I had to be treated the way I was considering they weren't even busy at the time, and eventually they just started ignoring me until I left. This was just the final straw for me seeing as this pharmacy has had issues for well over a year by now, including long hold times and poor service. Shout out the guy with the Lego tattoo though, he's always on top of things and has been nothing but help whenever he's on shift there, much love to him.

This pharmacy is grossly understaffed and their window is often closed. If you need medicine faster than 24 hours do NOT use this pharmacy.

Horrible customer service over the phone and rude in person. I never have a problem at any other cvs but for some reason this one is always horrible and unfortunately it's the closest one to my home. I was told at 1 pm that my prescription would be done at 4 pm. I called several times and after being on hold forever I was hung up on every time someone answered. Before I could even say a word. So I went in person at 515 p.m., and it still wasn't ready. They claimed there was an insurance problem even though we have no issues with our insurance. I offered to pay cash since they had it done already, and they said it would still be a 30-minute wait, even though they had the medications in their hands. I waited in store, finally got the medicine, and I drove 35 minutes back home only to find that they didn't mix my son's antibiotics. I literally have a bottle of powder, and my options are to attempt to mix it myself or drive 35 minutes back bc of their mistake. This CVS needs an entire new staff and new pharmacist. I've never had a bad experience at any other CVS in my entire life. Very disappointed and I paid full price for my son's medicine.

Went to pick up a prescription that had been called in approximately 45 minutes prior to going to CVS East Palatka. Once we got there - the young lady behind the counter asked my husbands name and date of birth. They had the prescription in the system - but proceeded to tell me that it was 8:00 pm and they were literally closing (her words) that we would have to wait until 10:00 tomorrow to pick-up (this was with a smile on her face). No matter what we said - she wouldn’t fill the prescription. My husband had just broke his foot and needed something for pain. She didn’t care! I was in shock! They have absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I wouldn’t have give it one star - if I could have left this review. The experience was unbelievable!

This is horrible! Dr called in RX on 8/25/23 called cvs, they said we'll text you (says the lady on the speaker phone).. 8/30 i download the app today. Says RX on hold. Called CVS (no reason-lady said were 2-3 days out filling prescriptions, you'll have to get it tomorrow. Called the next morning. Another lady checked into it. No reason it should've been put on hold. (No insurance reason, nothing,) Said we will text you when it's ready. I laughed. Lady said no seriously, we will text you. I will call the manager ARRON tomorrow as he is off today. This is absolutely ? NOT ACCEPTABLE! Sickning, I've been waiting on my Meds for CVS to Hold them for no other reason then they Didn't WANT to fulfill my prescription?? Not wanting to fill it? then played games with me?? Over putnam county B.S. if I were black I'd get better service

I frequented this location of CVS because it was on my way home, even though the service, particularly the service from the pharmacy, was always a bit lacking… but my last visit to this particular CVS demonstrated a new low in professionalism, and likely violated multiple HIPAA regulations.Beginning when the clerk announced the category of the medication I was picking-up to everyone within earshot of where I was standing. Then some woman behind the counter addressed me like I was a criminal when I simply asked why was it going to take an additional 30 minutes to fill, when the prescription was called-in hours earlier.I must have finally cracked her facade when I had the audacity to ask if the 30 minutes could be condensed to 20 minutes, since by then I had resigned to wait, rather than drive home, and back, to which the same rude woman responded, in a unnecessarily stern tone that “30 minutes was how long it took to fill controlled-substance prescriptions” and then she dramatically spun around on her heel to walk away, leaving me a bit blindsided, but now I was getting angry. What prompted this attitude I asked myself?I was then compelled to ask her if that was the way she treated ALL of her customers? It was at this point that the pharmacist decided to pile-on, and blurted-out that I could have my prescription filled somewhere else because he wasn’t going to fill it, and that I could take my business elsewhere. At this point it’s worth reiterating that all of this drama was simply because I asked if they could shave a bit of my wait time off. Those involved in the unfolding drama just chose to be obstinate and rude, and I wasn’t having any of it… nor should I be required to suffer abuse from an entity where I was doing business. Needless to say, it went downhill from there, as my reaction was also less than ideal, but remember, I only asked a question.I didn’t know I didn’t have the right at CVS to ask questions…Seriously. I will never understand how anyone in business can think that they have the right to treat their customers with such distain. I wasn’t rude. I asked a question.I also feel compelled to say, although I shouldn’t have to say this:IT’S. NOT. OK. TO. ABUSE. CUSTOMERS. There was no reason for this to have escalated, except someone was having a bad day, and decided to take it out on an unsuspecting customer. But there’s more.THIS is the REAL reason for my review. The unprofessional behavior of the pharmacist caused an innocent person, who had NOTHING to do with the earlier encounter between myself and the pharmaceutical staff, and as a result, caused undue stress and pain for the patient, my husband. My husband actually visited this CVS the next day, in person, to see if he could pick-up his prescription, which seemed reasonable to him since he had no issue with the staff, nor presumably they with him, and since the medication was prescribed to him, and he needed it sooner than later, he naturally didn’t want to wait. He was in pain. He also knew (AS DID THE PHARMACIST) that because it was now the weekend, any changes would require that the patient would have to wait until Monday to remedy the situation with another pharmacy. This is an an example of an incredibly unprofessional pharmacist, hired by CVS, who chose to exercise extreme prejudice by refusing to fill this prescription for the patient, (not me) knowing his inaction would force the patient to have to wait through the weekend for his medication. That kind of passive-aggressive behavior from a pharmacist is cruel and sadistic…To think that the pharmaceutical industry is supposed to be an extension of the healthcare industry, and as a business serving the public, this suggests to me that CVS and its employees have no right to treat their customers prejudicially… EVER!I do suspect someone was having a bad day, (we all do…) but it isn’t ok to take one’s personal issues out on customers. PERIOD.Shame on the pharmacist and his poorly trained staff, and shame on CVS for lowering its standards.I won’t return.

I went to this CVS today to fill a prescription. Since there was a line in the drive thru I went inside. I handed my prescription to a female employee at the pharmacy drop off. She told me they didn’t have any of the pills in stock and may have to order them. She asked if I normally go there, which I responded, “no, I usually use CVS Palatka “. She continued to question me why I came there, which I believed was inappropriate. It didn’t matter why I was using the pharmacy, they just needed to fill my Rx. The employee had an attitude and seemed like I was a bother, even though I was the only person in the pharmacy area. I told her to give me back my prescription and I would go elsewhere. I was only using the pharmacy out of convenience, being it’s 2 minutes from my office; and I could pick it up when I got off work. I will NEVER use this CVS again.
