Howie is my go to engine builder, has built half a dozen motors for me over the last decade, from boat engines, oem refreshes to full blown race engines. he’s always been reliable and consistent, never had an issue. Highly recommend

There aren’t many people out there like this anymore. I was trying to get machine work done on a 2.8 out of a 4 cylinder Colorado and no one wanted to touch it I’m guessing because it wasn’t a LS. I spend weeks calling around until I found Chs. Where they took my project and acted like it was any other job and not something too small and not worth it for them. I had a cylinder head rebuilt the crank ground and the block decked and honed. I assembled it myself and have about 2000 miles in it and it’s running great so far. The owner took time to offer a lot of advice and answered any questions I had even though they are clearly very busy.

After reading countless reviews in the Palm Bay area, we decided to go with CHS for our Mach 1 project—an hour away—and it was absolutely worth it. Excellent experience! I was referred to CHS by a friend that uses this business regularly. I called and spoke to the owner about my project and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He definitely earned my trust quick and seems to do business the right way. I’ll update my review if anything changes once we start building my engine but otherwise I’m very confident that they’ll do a great job.

Lots of knowledge in that shop. They showed proof of everything they told me they would fined wrong . I got video clips of work being done. I will never take my money to anyone else. Wish I would have known them before I started my build. Thank you for your time.

After talking with Howard, I was confident that he knew what he was doing, not just in a general sense, but specificaly about my motor application. Most places don't know squat about Pontiacs, but he did. Very pleased with the service and turn around time on my machining work.

?Great Place!!! 100% knows what their doing. FAST service. Sanded both heads and liquid test in front of me all under an hr. I got desperate Subaru wanted $3500 to do my 96' head gaskets. Kids & I ripped car down ourselves You Tube "A1auto" suggested MACHIEST from Machice Shop. So I did lots of research & calls everywhere wanted $320 and up. Except "CHS MACHINE SHOP" $100 for both ?????????
