Fantastic display of aeronautical history along with informative signs. Takes about 45 minutes to walk around outside and another 30 minutes inside if you go at a descent pace. Had a 13 year old and 5 yo and kept them interested the entire time. Best part is everything is free! Bonus, if you’re there at the right time the fighter jets from the Air Force base launch right over the parking lot!

Excellent, free, very interesting museum that our kids (10 and under) enjoyed, especially all the aircraft outdoors that they could run around and inspect. The information on each aircraft was really interesting. It took us probably a little less than an hour to walk around the outside of the entire museum to see all the outdoor aircraft, then we went inside, where there is a ton more to see, read, and learn about! The man at the front was very nice and welcoming. There is a whole side room dedicated to guns and other weapons, which was cool. On the east side of the museum, you can walk through the body of one of the planes (they removed it from a plane and installed it in the museum) to see what it looked like inside one of the older planes. This was a great, free entertainment option that was also enlightening and educational.

? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is one of the best days I’ve ever had. I put off this visit, finally went today and it’s the highlight of my year. I spent 5 hours wandering and reading and SEEING all of the amazing USAF History. So many great displays and it’s a fantastic place to take kids to teach them the history of aviation and war. Thank you to all the amazing staff I met. So smart, and friendly!

If you are at all interested in Air Force history, this is a fascinating place to visit and well worth a stop. Many different planes on display outside, including the famous SR-71 Blackbird. Inside you can view exhibits spanning the entirety of US Air Force history from World War I to the Gulf War. Many examples of bombs and missiles can be found inside the building as well. There's even an example of the Fat Man nuclear bomb.A visit will take you anywhere from 1-2 hours, and is a good way to spend some time in the area.

My husband and I spent nearly two hours here, and could have spent more. Super interesting, with a huge collection of exhibits. Soooo many airplanes of varying ages and types on display both outdoors and inside, from all eras of the military. Very informative signage. So many of the negative reviews here are because it was closed during Covid, but it’s not closed now. And so what if your kids can’t touch anything. Most museums are “no touch”. Teach your kids to follow rules and show respect. The museum is also FREE.

Quite a large exhibit of planes and armaments. Very informative staff. It would be great if they had some interactive exhibits such as a basic flight simulator or plane you could sit in.I would recommend it especially for young people to learn about the sacrifices people made for the freedom we enjoy today.Thank you for your service .
