This pharmacy should be ashamed at how incredibly horrible it’s operated. Especially knowing so many seniors are in this area. Having to navigate the ridiculous system to obtain prescriptions is insane. They require you to activate a prescription that a medical professional obviously sent to them, but doing so is challenging as you can never get through the phone line. It will allow you to make a selection to activate but then rings and eventually gives a message stating call cannot be completed as dialed. Absolutely ridiculous and pathetic as a whole.

Had one script from an on-base MD activated on 19 Apr. Script was not filled until 5 May!! Luckily I could buy this med over the counter. I never was notified that this script was filled or ready for pickup. Had another script, written by an off-base MD on 5 May and activated the script the same day through the text message activation system. I was given a queue number. On 8 May I called and waited 30 minutes in the queue to ask if the medication was ready. The medication happened to have been filled the same day (5 May) as it was activated. I never got a text or phone call saying the medication was ready. I was informed that there were TWO prescriptions to be picked up… the one from 19 April and the one from 5 May. Both medications were picked up at the Satellite pharmacy on 8 May, only because I checked on it/them. What a NIGHTMARE! The system is woefully inadequate and clearly needs someone to take control of this insanity. The 19 Apr script was to be filled by the main pharmacy. The 4 May script was to be filled by the Satellite pharmacy. Funny how the script from the Main pharmacy made it over to the satellite pharmacy for pick up.

My family is now in the retired category and my first available appt as a Tricare Prime retiree (dependent) is an entire month and a half out. I am definitely switching to select even though I'll have copays. This hospital sucks, and the the people making appts are active duty so they have an "I don't care" attitude.

2/9/2023 Yes there are problems starting up a new system. After I finally got through with one hang-up while in queue. I was treated with the utmost respect and the staff person on the phone during new prescription activation was excellent in her task. I look forward to technical improvements as times goes on.

I appreciate my pharmacy benefit which I earned, but I believe this medical group intentionally develops hurdles and inconveniencies to discourage use. It is insane a Rx sent in from a doctor must be activated. Why? Then after hours of trying to figure out how to complete this process, I must hold on to the phone line for hours to speak to a technician. Then I get to wait in a car line for about an hour to pick-up the Rx. I had high hopes that the new construction would increase efficiency, but not so, same old support, or lack of it.

This pharmacy is as efficient as a square wheel. I arrived at 8am to collect my check-in slip which indicated a 5 minute wait time for prescription check-in. For approximately 30min collectivly noone is at the only two windows calling numbers. Instead of having a meeting at the beginning of the shift like all the other sections do they decided to have a meeting while a large quantity of people waited to simply get their prescriptions put into the system. My number is called 55min later to window 2 but when I get to the window theres nobody there to greet me. I'm then told in a very rude manor that they don't know where she went and that Id need to pull another number so I left. The funny thing about it is that this isn't the first horrible experience I've had at Eglins main pharmacy, I've had countless. I just finally decided to try and warn people.

Lousy leadership. When you call Pharmacy to activate your subscription, it takes forever even if you call right at 0730 hours. Those of us who have to work for a living have a job to get to and can't wait hours for someone to finally pick up the phone. Leadership is failing all who have medical needs and only a short time to fulfill those needs.I have to take a day off just to fulfill medication needs. Basically Pharmacy leadership don't give a hoot about patients and it is reflected in current policies and the lack of. Otherwise leadership would come up with a better way to meet the needs of those who are desperately in need of their medications.

The case manager is very insufficient in the pediatric department. Do not help with the facilitation of the service. Specific the pediatric department and my kid is Autistic, making the services to receive impossible with the go around in circle all the time and not giving me the RX need it.

Newly renovated and still garbage. 3+ hour wait times for simple prescriptions. Go back to the drive through annex pharmacy. That actually worked well.

With the exception of the gentleman giving prescriptions, horrible service overall. I was discharged from the ER on quarters and instructed to activate and pick up a prescription. Over the course of an hour and a half I was attempting to call with the number provided and put on hold multiple times only for the call to end in a busy tone. I had to activate my prescription IN THE DRIVE THRU to then wait an additional 45 min’s.

Even in the middle of construction working out of a trailer it’s the most seamless process I’ve witnessed at any base, hats off to who runs this and sets this up I mean even with an automatic drop thingy like the banks have, this is temporary for construction?!? Flawless! Absolutely incredible and got my prescription in like one minute!! Please send someone to Hurlburt and Langley and get them on the same page. ??? the photos show the red box that conveniently travels to your window!

Clinic left for the day prior to the posted 1600 closure. I called around 1500 with no answer. My call at 1545 was answered by a nearby clinic and I was notified of the early departure. Fail.
