Some of the most incompetent clerks. I worked for the USPS and walked in to have a MLNA done and they were clueless on what that was. Some training is required for these clerks.

I hate that this is the closest location to my house and I often drive to the one on main or in Tarpon to avoid coming here if I have time. The associates at this location are so unkind and unpleasant to deal with. I cringe upon entering when I see the one lady with brown hair working. Forget about any pleasantries, eye contact, or just not being spoken to sharply as if your mere existence has pissed her off. Kindness is FREE ma’am and I really hope you’re set free from whatever compels you to be so venomous to complete strangers and clearly hate your job.

Do not ever try to call this po as they WILL NOT CONNECT YOU. So when they lose your package you have to go there and stand in line to speak to a person who could literally care less that they lost your package. I'm sick and tired of needing to call because we work AND HAVE TO TAKE OFF TO DEAL WITH THEIR INCOMPETENCE. Do yourself a favor and use main street. Yiu can call them. This one is horrible customer service. So frustrating.

The package drop slot handle has been broken for over 2 weeks with no hope of ever being repaired. They are supposed to be open on Saturdays until 12:30pm for service at the clerks counter but, they are closed. Customer service and proper business practices no longer apply in this world now but, they want to countiue to rasies rates, damage, lose and deliver packages late.

One word to describe the vibe here, Ghetto. This is "THE" GHETTO USPS OF NEW PORT RICHEY. Don't go there, UNLESS, you have to and there's no other professional USPS open. Especially if you are not a person who does interact with the post offices much, GO TO the one on MAIN ST., I have never felt the need to leave a review..here we are.ON GOD, I went to cash $20 money order. As I waited in line. I saw a mailman sorting drop box mail, and as he weighed each letter he found, he stamped it and shouted 'suckerrrr'. Because now the customer has to pay $5 or more for not sending the letter regular. All this, and they couldn't cash my valid, USPS postal money order. Please don't go here. It's not what it once was. I been in this town for 22 years. Never again. Very saddening Mary.

I've stopped in for stamps and documents..Never had a bit of trouble.. Even get a laugh with all the services there..However, I have witnessed a couple customers, on different occasions, have unrealistic expectations..I recall one man arguing about a received letter from his on-site PO box, being tampered with. The servicer repeatedly told him she has no idea when or how it was done, and that she's sorry for something she knew nothing about.. the customer had entered the Post Office with the envelope, so from my viewpoint, there's no way to know what happened to the letter, or if the letter was opened after the man's car. But had demanded she tell him how it happened..Overall a cool Post Office location... to me.Have a happy holiday season
