“It's a Walgreens. No issues during several visits and all were friendly to this out of state guy. Store was clean when I have been there and the pharmacist was helpful.”

“Last week, I decided to pick up dinner for my father and I. He said he was craving Mexican food, so I headed over to Acapulco Tropical on 41. This is a Latin grocery store that also has a nice hot line serving all kinds of food. We decided to have a carne asada burrito and birria tacos. We got them to go. Once home, we got into them and we were very happy with our selections. The steak burrito was huge and full of meat, rice, and beans. The flavor was quite good. The birria was the real highlight. The flavor was exceptional. The broth was perfect that they served it with. If I had one small complaint about the birria, it was a bit stringy, but it was so flavorful it didn't matter. We were both very happy with our meals. Solid spot that is worth checking out.”

“Huge selection of items from Mexico. Large shoe department with beautiful decorated leather boots and sandals. Variety of plain and decorated cowboy hats for men, women and children. Items are very fairly priced. Decorated hand made ceramics, assorted metal cookware. Even if you aren't into Mexican items you should stop by and pickup a cast metal citrus squeezer. Throw away your cheep plastic one that keeps breaking. Worth a visit just to see the unusual items. Pulling in is very confusing. You have to pull into the community entrance just to the west, then turn around in a round about and on the way back out, enter the shipping center before you get to 674.”

“I'm new to the area and this pharmacy and staff went out of their way to help me with my prescriptions. The one that needed to be ordered arrived before they even thought it would and the wonderful staff filled it quickly when I arrived so I didn't need to make another trip. (It was very busy with vaccines) The staff all gets an A+. Thank you so much for your kindness and help! Angela”

“The BEST! Great quality produce and meat. The best fried chicken and sub sandwiches. But the thing Publix does even better is take care of their communities! Every Publix that could be open right after Hurricane Ian was open. They were receiving shipment of food and essentials a day later. They had good food, water, TP and batteries before and after unlike stores like WalMart. They stand alone among grocery stores. I grew up in Florida, my family has been here for many generations. My work took me to the East and West Coasts for decades. There are no grocery stores left like Publix. Thank you for taking cate of your customers!”

“Josh the pharmacist is SO helpful! Wow, I had something that needed authorization & had complications but he explained it perfectly. He also ACTUALLY called me back when he found a medicine that he didn't think they had. REALLY? Going the extra mile is so rare these days and thank you Walgreens for hiring Josh & please recognize his extra efforts.”

“[What's in a name?]Publix Super Markets, Inc., commonly known as Publix is more than an average grocery store.George Jenkins the founder opened the first stand-alone grocery store in Winter Haven, Florida, on September 6, 1930. He adopted the name "Publix" from a struggling New York-based movie theater company (with 19 opulently decorated movie houses in Florida) called Publix Theatres Corporation. Jenkins stated "Most of the theaters were closing up, and I liked the sound of the name, so I just took it for my store."Always OUTSTANDING customer service great people quality products. Staffs are friendly and helpful and appear to be eager to be there. Also a large Greenwise selection, quality meats and bakery. Personally I love the service at Publix. They are true BOGOs where they don't jack the price up and then offer the BOGO, like some other grocery stores do. "Publix, where shopping is a pleasure", has been their motto forever, and for the most part it is true. The bigger the store, the larger the assortment of products. The small stores have only the top selling brands. I love their BOGO's, when I can't find something and ask a sales person, they will take me to the item or find out if they carry the product. If they are out of the product they will check in back and if there is none in storage, they will suggest a rain check. Highly Recommend!”
