I'm in Publix almost every day. This particular store was immaculate and the staff was so friendly. I found out today that this is one of the oldest stores. It's obvious that they work incredibly hard. This store shines!

I went on a Friday night at around 8 pm - the Deli area was manned by 1 person - Bruce. He was AMAZING! What an amazing example of what customer service is. He made the BEST sandwich and was so kind and even let us try some other cold cuts for future sandwich ideas - what an amazing man and employee - Publix is lucky to have Bruce on their team.

Great location if you live in north side of Englewood, Florida. Plenty of selection and excellent quality of all supermarket offerings.

Store has always been pretty clean and mostly well stocked. Rarely are they out of what I need. Lines are manageable with lots of self checkout lanes open too. Store is always busy but there are always parking spots available especially if you don’t mind a short walk

I’m an IC shopper and I’d have to say this is by far the worst Publix I have ever been to. Yes it’s really old and outdated and big but you can never find anyone to help you and if you do they give you attitude even though it’s in their job description they’re supposed to help customers / shoppers if asked. The cashiers just sit there and chitchat and gossip and go really slow instead of doing their job and they are the absolute worst baggers I have ever seen. I literally had to just grab bags and go out into the parking lot and redo all of the bagging. That’s how terrible it was. they give you attitude, make looks at each other and literally rolled their eyes because one lady had asked if I needed help to the parking lot with TWO carts— I took her help and she rolled her eyes and gave a dirty look to her mean other coworker. Guess she wanted me to say no. They also rolled their eyes if you tell them to bag something a certain way or bag something that they didn’t want to bag. you guys need to update the store it’s been like 25 years plus of the same exact store and you need to get self check out like every single other store on this planet has now. because these cashiers are bad. Do not give them raises. They don’t deserve it. They don’t even deserve the money that they probably get paid right now. Managers need to have a talk with the cashiers cause this wasn’t the first or only time experiencing these things. People already wait in line forever cause there’s no self checkout, the last thing they need is a cashier who’d rather talk more than actually ringing stuff up, going super slow. And don’t think for a second it’s just a certain age group. I’ve found the younger they are the faster they go. The older— the more talking and attitudes. And y’all wonder why IC shoppers want to bag their own stuff… this isn’t just us being petty or picky… we get GRADED on it so to speak. So when Publix cashiers and baggers do a crappy job that hurts us.
