Called pharmacy @ 3:37 this afternoon & spoke with technician who was quite cordial & helpful. Explained my situation fully, that last night the local walk in clinic prescribed medication for very high blood pressure, gave me a paper prescription, & sent it electronically to another pharmacy thinking it was the only one open at the time (but it had already closed). I asked the Walmart tech if I could bring in the signed paper prescription & have it filled & pick it up today as long as I arrived before 6:00pm, and she said they did have the med in stock and it wouldn't be a problem (the e-prescription at the other pharmacy had already been cancelled; they closed early today, before I would be able to get there). When I arrived at the Walmart pharmacy counter at 5:50pm, I was the only customer, there was a pharmacist & 2 technicians on duty, and they had the med there, but they balked at filling it.. first they tried to say the signed paper prescription "wasn't valid" - I explained the e-script had been cancelled earlier, and that I had spoken with a tech earlier & was assured it could be filled, but they belittled that tech and stated that there "wasn't enough time to fill it". The time they wasted trying to avoid filling it brought it to 5:55pm, and then they said Walmart won't pay any overtime to the techs no matter what, so now it's definitely too late.. and they certainly can't waste 5 minutes of there own time to help out, as they're a huge corporate entity and it just doesn't work that way anymore I guess.Funny the contrast in customer service between the walk in clinic diagonally across the street & this experience; the NP at the walk in clinic spent an hour and a half doing a thorough workup on me, 45 minutes of that after closing time.. and she did so with consummate bedside manner. Customer service may be a dying concept with these corporate behemoths, but at least it doesn't come last everywhere.

The Walmart Pharmacy in Englewood has a rocking team of excellence. My husband and I use this pharmacy every month for our son’s medication and we always receive the absolute best customer service. Even during season, with lines that seem a mile long, the pharmacy technicians multitask and do their best to move it along. When we have had issues with our pediatrician getting the scripts emailed properly, the technicians always follow through and achieve delivering us the needed meds for our son in the most timely manner. A huge thanks to the entire team at the Walmart Pharmacy.

I wished that I would have read the reviews before transferring my medications there. I thought I transferred them anyway. I ask Walgreens to transfer my medications there. They said that they did do just that back on 4/21. These were 90 day prescriptions. I phoned Walmart to refill them. The pharmacist argued with me and said that they didn't have them. She said that they were closed out??????

Called in and was on hold for over 10 minutes. Figured I was forgotten about so ended call and called back only to put on hold over 15 minutes more before someone finally answered. Was already in the store by then and was only checking to see if my refill was ready. Said it wasn't, but would be in about 40 minutes. Not camping out, so will have to come back another day. Disappointed as I've been coming here for several years and never took this long for phones to be answered.

**WARNING** BE AWARE! This “Walmart” Pharmacy refused to fill my prescription because of an unknown and undisclosed “policy” which is loosely and discretionarily followed. My prescription was called in by my Dr at 3pm. When my wife went to pick it up for me at 8pm, she was told that my prescription could not be filled because the Dr that we see is through Telehealth.Oh, it gets better. I have been seeing my Dr for 3 months and getting my prescriptions filled by this Walmart pharmacy without any issue. No one ever mentioned any “policy” issue to me. My wife also sees the same Dr and has the same prescription which was filled without any issue the day before they refused to fill my prescription.I went to Walmart myself in attempt to resolve the matter in hopes to get my prescription filled before we left for vacation the following morning. Apparently, “Amet” the Head Pharmacist took it upon himself to flag my prescription but did not bother to notify me by phone, email or text that there was an obscure Walmart Pharmacy ”policy” issue with my prescription. The Pharmacy does have all of my information on file in their system. I receive text notifications when my prescriptions are ready. So, I proceeded to inquire about the unknown policy and address the lack of communication with the Pharmacist on shift but she was very short and rude with me. She just kept interrupting me and saying that she wasn’t going to fill it and that it shouldn’t have been filled previously. I continued to voice my disbelief and frustration regarding not being informed sooner so that I may have the opportunity to resolve the matter or get my prescription filled elsewhere. After speaking to me like I was a child, the short and rude Pharmacist had enough of me complaining to her so she called the store Manager and 3 others that showed up in a rush like there was a fire or a murder in progress lol. I’m a disabled Marine Veteran and a retired Police Officer. I was not in Walmart to cause any harm to the rude Pharmacist. She just didn’t like being confronted about the mistake that was made and the inconsistency of their staff and the undisclosed and obscure policy. The store Manager was very nice and polite but only stated that they were not affiliated with the pharmacy and that they were privately owned. The rude Pharmacist didn’t like that I wasn’t being escorted out for complaining to her so she threatened to call the police on me! My only issue was the fact that the pharmacy had made a mistake, didn’t notify me, wouldn’t fix it and then wanted to be rude about it when all I wanted was clarification and help in getting my prescription filled elsewhere. So, be aware of the non Walmart affiliated pharmacy’s hidden policies and their inability to communicate effectively and respectfully to their customers in need of prescriptions in a timely manner because it does not seem to apply or be a priority here at our inconsistent Englewood “Walmart” Pharmacy.Needless to say, our family will be finding a new pharmacy.

Love it when I call and I’m immediately put on hold just to be hung up on after 5 minutes. I’ve gone thru this cycle four times now, they don’t even let you get a word in when they ask you to hold either. Good luck calling this place about switching your prescriptions to them. Guess we are going elsewhere.

I have to pick up medication for someone else, minimum 2 times a week. So I deal with them a lot. They do a great job. Yes sometimes there are issues (never their fault). But they do everything in there power to fix or explain them. I feel I am lucky to get to deal with such dedicated caring people. If you wrote a bad review because of something that was out of their control, shame on you.

My wife and I had Moderna boosters scheduled a week ahead of time and when we waisted our gas we were told they did not have the shots put aside for us. They suggested we call back each day and see if they got it in. Poor service on both accounts.

I am only giving this place a 3 star because they do have some polite and aware employees. My husband and I have had sooooo many issues filling things, order dates, profile issues, them skipping over things it has been ridiculous. We are almost at the point or may be there of switching places. Some staff have no idea what is going on, others are very knowledgeable and it is very frustrating. They skipped one whole prescription of mine for months in a row and no one knew what was going on. They have mixed up dates on refills, told me inaccurate dates on when I can fill things and just so much more. I do like the text updates on your refills and they don't do horrible time wise with filling medications as long as there is a completely clear script or request. Someone before me mentioned the phone answering being an issue and it's true. I have had to call 6 times in a day to finally talk to someone without them putting me on hold and never coming back to the phone. If you get put on hold your best bet is to hang up and call them back in 10 minutes or longer.

Totally bunch of screw ups. They told me my 90 day prescription was only authorized for 30 days. The script says otherwise and I've always filled it for 90 days. Nonetheless, they told me to call them every 30 days. On another occasion they said two of my prescriptions were no longer available for refill and to call my doctor, but the scripts were clearly authorized for two more refills. Lastly, it's impossible to reach them by phone. They answer, say please hold and then then totally ignore you. I waited nearly 15 minutes and finally hung up.
