No customer loyalty. I have banked with Fifth Third for over 28 years. I have paid off four mortgages, two construction loans and four home equity loans with Fifth Third with zero late payments. I recently applied for a 12 month $45k signature loan and the loan officer declined my application. I was told I could provide more documentation for re-evaluation but I was out of town and was unable to provide the addition information before I needed the loan funds. So after 28 years I am closing my Fifth Third account and changing to another bank.The reply just reinforces my decision to close my account. There is no chat option on the mobile app nor web site. I tried the automated Jeanie feature numerous times but received a “no agent is available to assist” reply.

The customer services is terrible! The bankers prefer to go to lunch at 11am (and let you know!!!) rather than taking care of you, letting you wait for 26 minutes before another bankers takes care of you! It s getting worse and worse!! Will for sure go to another location!The only person in there that does a good work is Benny!But obviously customer service is not their priority ...0 star is what they deserve !!!!

Will be switching banks asap. Worst service, card constantly blocked for suspicious activity for the most regular of activity, and long hold times to get it released.

April 2021 our checking account was hacked 2x. We were reimbursed for one of those. Closed that account & opened another. This past March/ early April our checking account was hacked again. Went to branch office, gave us a copy of fake check..thought they were taking care of it. But a few days later, found out they weren't. Filed paperwork with the fraud dept..nice guy at the bank assisted with this. 30 days later, received a letter that paperwork was not filed in the allotted time period! The nice guy who assisted 30 days prior was just as shocked as I was! Spoke with fraud Dept. & no one was willing to help! We are in process of closing checking & savings accounts & going to a different bank.***update: I just called the # that i was given (in below response). I don't know why I bothered. Waste of time dealing with this bank. Take your $$$ & run to another bank!!!

If you have no place to go and want to loiter around for more than half an hour .... go there! You will be ignored completely. Even requests to speed up won't work, even if you are abt. to leave the country and have to make arrangements! Thanks MC for NOTHING!

Young male teller at Corkscrew Village location has no interpersonal skills and is almost downright rude to customers. I have noticed this several times. Also, when I opened new accounts several months ago hardly anything went right. I don’t believe the order was sent out for my checks, debit and credit cards. After 2 weeks I called. New accounts were apologetic and everything was sent directly to the bank in two days and I went there and picked up. I never had issues like this at my old bank and only left because I moved my north home and they were not located there.

I received a check from my daughter for $82.00who has an account there, I wanted cash since I was going out of town at 4am tomorrow,my daughter said go to her bank,teller said she couldn't cash the check since I don't have an account there. Thankfully I don't and never will, and will tell everyone I know.

Absolutely the worst experience ever! After depositing checks made out to my dba without any questions for 6 years, the day before I'm leaving town for the summer they refuse to deposit a check for me even though they had deposited a check from the same business a few weeks earlier. I spoke to the ineffective, rude manager, Brent Saitta, who had the communication skills of a knat . After arguing with him and elevating my anxiety levels for a good 15 minutes, I asked if we could just open a business checking account to deposit this. He said "yes." I said why didn't you tell me this in the first place? Then, he said never mind, I'm not going to deposit your check regardless. Needless to say, I will be moving all of my accounts from 5th Third Bank and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

They lied to me about a deposit bonus! I asked repeatedly when I opened my account if everything was set up right as I know companies like to play games and they said yes. Then I didn’t get it. AND THEY WERE RUDE TO ME (the teller was. The manager was nice). DO NOT BANK HERE!

Had a difficult situation with fraud & Fifth Third representative named Lawane Green walked us through the entire process. Leaving no stone unturned & covered every base. Answered every question and fixed all our issues

Tried to contact Estero branch for over an hour to no avail. Kept forwarding my call to the service center that could not help me.Very disappointed in the service.

It's a bank. Lots of locations and the people are always helpful. Wish I had more money to give them to hold for me! Hey idea..... does money get together in the vault and make baby money like coins? Maybe then I could or we could have more!!!!! Ok well thank you for taking care of me and my money fifth third!! See you online
