Fantastic animal hospital with a kind and caring staff. They are fair with pricing and very conscientious. I feel they really do want what is best for my pet and when they can they give a few options on how to get what we need. They took great care of my dog for her annual visits and when she got sick unexpectedly they handled it wonderfully, couldn't ask for better care. Thank you!

I’m disappointed with my recent experience at Humberstone. I paid for a fecal test for my Edna, but was never told there was a 30-day time limit to submit the sample. Even after that period had passed, I was given a second collection tube during another appointment and still wasn’t told it was too late to turn it in.
Today, when I asked for a refund, I was told it couldn’t be issued because the clinic had already paid a fee. Unfortunately, that means I ended up losing out on money for a service that I couldn’t even use.
I understand that policies and lab fees exist, but this information should have been clearly communicated up front — including the time limit and the required sample amount. I hope Humberstone improves its communication so other pet owners don’t have the same experience.

I don’t even know where to start… THANK YOU to all the staff at Humberstone Animal Hospital especially the vet Jennifer Hernandez and Practice Manager, Sully Gonzalez. They really saved our dog, Winter!
Winter is 12 years old and she was very sick for couple of days. We thought she was dying of age but she had discharge with a very bad smell. I love my dogs but I also know how expensive vet costs can be. We weren’t sure if we were going to be financially prepared to handle the cost to fix whatever this issue was.
Either way we had to take her to the vet. We called around for possible costs and Humberstone’s cost was reasonable.
Long story short, Winter had Pyometra and needed emergency surgery. When we were concerned and hesitant due to the expense, they didn’t judge us. They worked really hard to make it affordable for us and care for Winter. They stayed after hours to care for Winter and to make sure she was good to go home. They were so patient with us and took the time to explain after care thoroughly. Despite that it was already after hours she didn’t rush. I’m missing out on a lot of little details of how caring they were but I think I found my permanent vet!
Winter is healing and is doing so much better! Thank you Humberstone team for saving Winter!

Absolutely LOVE this place! Dr. Erika and Dr. Hernandez both are amazing and I wouldn’t want my fur babies to be seen anywhere else. I was extremely happy to see that there was a pricing difference from our last visit which worked in my bank accounts favor! The entire staff is always friendly and always makes us feel like we’re a part of the family.

Dr.Erika and Dr.Hernandez are two of the most knowledgeable and caring veterinarians I have ever met. They treat their patients like family and always provide the highest standard of care possible. The technicians are also extremely caring and compassionate, clearly a great team. Highly recommend this practice to anyone that wants their fur babies to be well taken care of!

Highly recommend! Great staff of veterinary medical professionals who welcomed us for our first visit. Kind, caring and patient as well as very efficient. The facilities were roomy, clean and comfortable. We are so happy we found Humberstone Animal Hospital! Prices are reasonable for the area and there are always appointments available when we need them. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in Estero. I had such a wonderful experience at Humberstone! Dr. Erika was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. She took the time to listen to all of my concerns and made sure my baby felt safe and cared for. It’s rare to find someone so compassionate and gentle. I’m very grateful for the care we received and I look forward to seeing Dr. Erika again!!

I took my cat to Humberstone Animal Hospital and the experience was absolutely wonderful. Dr. Hernández is amazing at what she does — very professional, kind, and truly caring with animals. I can’t say enough good things about Humberstone Animal Hospital! From the moment you walk in, you feel like your pet is in caring and capable hands. The staff is so kind, patient, and professional, they truly treat your animals like their own. The vets take the time to explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand, and you never feel rushed. Whether it’s a routine checkup or something more serious, I always feel confident that my pet is getting the best care possible. I had a great experience taking my puppy in for an initial exam! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I do wish the Bravecto wasn’t up-charged as it can be bought for half the price from Chewy.com

This place is absolutely priced way too high. I was linked to them through Petland. I was told through Petland that I would get half off of neutering. Grace told me they wouldn’t do neutering for my German Shepherd until he was a year and a half. I am out about 1000 dollars. I think we got 10% off the surgery itself. This place is out of their mind! Highway robbery!!!!
