We went to try out couches, and worked with David at first. He was very helpful, answered all of our questions, did not pressure us, and helped us purchase two drink tables that were out of stock.After trying 2 other furniture stores, we came back to purchase the couch we initially tried at West Elm. We worked with Patti, who helped us with fabric swatches and was patient while we texted pictures to family for second opinions. She really took the extra time to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted.We don't have the couch yet, but the store model was extremely comfortable, and the customer service was exceptional.

Buyer beware! If I could give 0 stars I would. We purchased what we thought was Sunbrella couch but come to find out it doesn’t clean like Sunbrella or even have the Sunbrella stamp (like Sunbrella stated it should). BEWARE wouldn’t want anyone else to be scammed. Called customer service and they stated that there is nothing they can do and the store is just as bad with support. Will never be tricked by this place again. If you are looking for furniture look elsewhere! Store and customer service doesn’t care once you purchase…

Someone recommended we shop there for furniture and furnishings for our new home. Liked the contemporary/modern vibe as soon as we entered. All associates were busy with other customers, so we browsed. The store is not very large, but we looked at nearly everything. Didn't see any furniture that would work for us. Reminded us a tiny bit of a micro footprint of Ikea. We did see one area rug that we were interested in, but not available in a larger size.

Will never order from West Elm again!!!! Ordered 2 custom storage beds. Took 10 months to get them and when arrived 4 of the 8 drawers don’t work. Delivery people notified someone. A person came to fix said they were poorly made orders new drawers. It has almost 4 months now and still not fixed. Tried to contact the number they gave for who was fixing beds but not working. I am so disgusted after all the money I spent on these beds for my new home. Absolutely ridiculous and impossible to get help!!!!

Ordered a table and rug in Oct. was told it would arrive 4 weeks later. Didn’t get it till February. Returned the rug for store credit because by the time it came I had already gotten and alternative. With the $700 store credit I purchased a steel planter for the garden. It came quickly but when it came it was packaged in non-west elm packaging so I looked up the brand/company who sold and shipped it and saw the identical product on their site for $199. West elm apparently has a $500 markup for items they dropship.Yet to have a positive experience with this company. Awful.

Unfortunately, they shipped an empty bag to me and then refused to refund. Claimed it was UPS' problem, who then refunded them, and then West Elm still refused to refund me. Avoid!

The employees were every friendly and helpful. The furniture is mostly not our style but it felt hardy and some were cute.

Worst place to buy furniture. We bought our living room from west elm in August. And told it would take maximum 2 months only to our demise they kept delaying our shipment. We got rid of our existing furniture as we neared the expected delivery date and they STILL kept delaying. We spent 2 months with out living furniture during the holidays because of their outrageous delays. Then we decided to cancel. Calling customer service was a disaster they were so rude worst service ever. After canceling we received two items that were in the delivery center for months! Both completely damaged! Beware of this company a complete scam. Read reviews before you buy.

Absolutely terrible company. Ordered patio furniture in September for the holidays, still not here December 30! Call customer care, wait on hold 45+ mins, phone is answered and hung up on, multiply times )I guess thus is how they manage on hold times), talked to customer care rep twice, expressed concern, was going to look into it and call back within 48 hours, never heard back. To date, paid fir 20k worth or furniture, recurve nothing! Avoid ordering from them. Operationally incompetent

West elm and it's related companies have the worst customer service I have ever have had the unhappiness to deal with. We ordered several thousand dollars worth of different furniture. None of which came in complete. A dining room table which came damaged and shipped had to be sent back. The coffee table came without the legs. And all of this after waiting for delivery for over 3 1/2 months. in attempting to get a full refund, we went through telephone after telephone after telephone call being put on hold, disconnected, and otherwise ignored. I will never purchased another item from these morons again.

Terrible experience! Worst ever I am very disappointed that I bought my furniture at West We have made several call and nobody knows where my table is. Nobody contacted me and I spent more than 2 hours trying to reach someone in customer’s service. The funny thing is that we paid for a table that we are not using stay away from this people

Nice people that work at the store. We ordered furniture in early June 2022. Some of it has come in and we are still waiting on some items.West elm is having major problems with deliveries. We had two delivery appointments made and they never showed up. After hours and hours on the phone we were connected with the warehouse and they said the items had not even made it to the warehouse yet.Although the furniture is nice, I would never order from west elm again given our delivery experience. If west elm doesn’t fix their delivery problems soon I think their company will be in big trouble!

Beautiful store but impossible to get a store associate to help you. Would not recommend if you’re hoping to get some input on your furniture purchase.

STOP!...and think twice before ordering! Damaged product received. Contacted numerous times, photos emailed as advised, and no response! Once payment is received, they want nothing to do with you. Save yourself the headache.
