Adopted Dusty 1 month ago and he has fit into the family quite well. He is such a sweetheart. 7 years old Jack Russel . We had raised two Jacks several years ago and missed thier personality and love that they have for you. Dusty has not disappointed us one bit. This was the best decision we have made.

I visited A Forever Home Animal Rescue hoping to adopt two Yorkie puppies, and what started as an exciting day turned into a very disappointing experience.
The volunteer who first greeted us was kind and welcoming. My husband (retired military), our 6-year-old, and 3-year-old were all present, and we made sure the kids stayed seated and calm while the puppies approached them.
However, another staff member soon joined us and expressed concerns about our young children and whether the dogs would get enough supervision. She even suggested the puppies might get out of our house and implied that our family wasn’t prepared to give them proper attention. We were surprised and felt judged, especially since we had explained our family situation and were actively supervising our children.
After completing paperwork for one puppy and beginning the second, we were ultimately told they were not comfortable with us adopting unless additional family members came to meet the dogs immediately. This was upsetting and felt unnecessary—we had driven an hour and were ready to provide a loving home. Our 6-year-old left in tears.
Thankfully, we have since adopted a wonderful Maltese puppy elsewhere, but this experience left us feeling profiled and unwelcome. I cannot recommend this rescue based on how we were treated.

I was dropping off a very small donation. When the door opened, a very sweet lady came out and thanked me profusely. You would think I dropped off a thousand dollars, but she was so very kind, I wish I could have given much more to these folks who take wonderful care of so many abandoned animals and show them each what love feels like !💜

The staff are wonderful. Made sure that our puppy would be in a good home and went over all of his care. Good socializing of their animals. Provided essentials for taking him home.

What a caring group of people!! We knew it was time to get a new puppy and the ladies at A Forever Home really took time to show us all the pups. They were so patient and informative. SO thankful for what they are doing, the care they put into what they do, and for our new pup Libby!! 🐶

Good morning,
I am reaching out in hopes that you will change your mind and assist sushi's actual owner. The owner was hospitalized and the fabrication that the dog was wandering the street and not surrendered by the person who was supposed to be boarding them is harmful and out right wrong.
While researching your rescue I ran into some horrible reviews about your character. Please try to make things right.
If this message does not get a response I will be reaching out to news outlets in the Florida area and nationwide in hopes to reunite sushi with his rightful owner who loves him and has had him for well over three years.
and to future adopters: it's not too late to find an animal rescue organization that moves with compassion and integrity.
