As a mechanic shop got screwd had rear breaks done cost $780 and filed first drive broke down side of highway had mobile mechanic redo all work and they did nothing to reimburse only said they did it right but failed first drive. This place does not honor their work don't come here terrible place and scammers.

When I found myself stranded I called Almand’s and they were insanely quick to respond. I was waiting on a callback but instead I found the tow truck next to my car! Talk about service. Skyler is an owner and was my driver for the day. He was super courteous and competent. Felt like I was in good hands getting my car to the shop with Almand’s.

**Absolute scammers – cash-only policy is just another red flag!**
This towing company is a complete nightmare. First, they tell you to meet them at 2 Bay St in Eustis, only to inform you later that your car is actually being held at 455 Devault St in Umatilla. It's a total bait-and-switch operation!
On top of that, they tack on insane fees like a “lien fee,” “clean-up fee,” “winch fee,” and more, none of which were justified. They even charge you for days when they're closed on the weekend, despite the fact I was available to pick up my car!
**And here's the kicker – they ONLY accept cash.** They won’t take cards, which is incredibly shady and suspicious. This seems like a tactic to avoid accountability and make it harder for customers to dispute charges. Why won’t a legitimate business accept credit or debit? Because they know that people could easily fight back against their outrageous charges!
They’re profiting off of people’s accidents and misfortune, and it's clear they have a shady deal with the local police to tow cars there and rack up unjustifiable fees. Read the other low-star reviews, and you’ll see this isn’t just my experience – they’ve been doing this to people for a long time.
If you want to avoid getting ripped off and scammed, stay far away from this place!

My car was totaled in an accident last year, and Almand’s was the tow company that was used.
This year I learned that they had placed a lien against my license. Called them to figure out why, they claimed they never got paid for the accident or my car being towed, and that my insurance company never picked up the vehicle. They tried to get me to pay then and there without having a chance to call my insurance company first, so I told them no and called insurance. Insurance not only paid them but also picked up the vehicle. When I called Almand’s back, they said they’d look into it and call me the next day. It was almost a week before they were able to find the payment they received over a year ago for my tow, and it was a week where I could not drive due to my tags being expired because of the lien they placed, and unable to renew until they gave me a paper to bring to the dmv.
Moral of the story, be very careful using them and document everything. Their office is tiny, and apparently it’s very easy to lose documentation and proof of payment. I’d use anyone else before I resorted to them.

Almand’s Service Station went above and beyond to help my brother after someone maliciously sliced his tires. Nicole was incredibly sweet and truly knows how to spread love and positivity in a world where it’s so needed. Their honesty and dedication to their customers are unparalleled. I am beyond grateful for their assistance and will definitely be using their services again. Highly recommended!

The owners are on a special watch list along with their co-conspirators at Eustis police dept. The allegations involve 1/6. You can figure out the rest. Or you can drive by there and look at the staff. Pretty easy to figure it out that way too. Stay as far away from Eustis and especially this place as you can.
