Worst experience I have ever had with a vet! As a tech and someone who works with animals this doctor should not! My poor 9yr old dog suffered for over a week because he didn’t feel it was necessary to do bloodwork after he had been acting different and off. A week goes by and he starts to go downhill very quick and had to go to the emergency vets who did the bloodwork and my regular mobile vet confirmed the worst that my boy wasn’t going to get better and we would have know that a week prior. So going in to having my boy put to rest, in the room with him the vet and his tech come in and goes straight into getting him ready to put him down. Didn’t ask if we were ready or any question. He also doesn’t give them a sedative like most vets do before giving them the juice to put them down. So my 80lb dog is standing on the table with a smaller tech holding him and the doctor has to stick him 3 times because the tech couldn’t hold him because he was standing and high on the table. The doctor had to go out of the room each time he had to change needles. He went out slamming doors and chewing on the needle cap being upset and yelling at his tech in front of us! Then after putting him down he wants to keep talking about stuff then asked as I’m laying on my dog crying Do you need more time!!! So I picked out his urn that had his name engraved on it as it shows in the book paid for it then I asked they do his paw prints right? The receptionist then tells me no u have to pay extra for anything u want done. I then said I would like his paw prints, nose print and clay paw print. Then she got smart with me saying anything else you think u want before ringing you up again? So when I went to pick his stuff up his name was not engraved and I asked why the receptionist tells me oh they don’t do that it just shows that in the book! I was very upset after everything we went through with this office! I will never be back and I would never recommend them for anything!

Had to take my kitty in early this morning. Seminole Springs Vet accommodated me and helped me get Blossom back up and running. Thanks to the Dr. for his knowledge and patience with my questions.

I brought in a stray cat I have been caring for with other community cats. Veterinarians often will not see these cats, even when they are super friendly and sweet, but this vet did. I am so appreciative. Staff and doctor were all great. Thank you!

There is absolutely nothing that could have been done to make my experience better, I absolutely love Dr. Wilbur and all of the staff. Dr. Wilbur never rushes out of the room and really takes his time to answer every question and concern you have about your furry friend. The vet techs are just as amazing and friendly, you can tell they love your fur baby just as much as you do. Christina who works the front desk is one of the kindest people you will ever meet and you can tell she truly enjoys her job. I love this office and the whole staff, I have been going to them for 3 years now and will always recommend them to neighbors, friends and family!

Great place at first, but went in there with feral cat I found who was pregnant, they said wait it'll happen, waited over 80 days,no babies ,take it to vet,he says she can't be pregnant,it's not possible, your wrong, paid my bill, went home, said it was gas, give my cat a hug and laugh, saying your not pregnant,my cats looks at me, goes into closet gives birth to one cat, next day another,I call back vet, asking for credit,or my money back,he cancelled my service, and released my paperwork, so from cool to not cool I wouldn't waste my time...I'm not stupid

I so wanted to like this facility, as it is literally located a minute's walk from my front door. The first negative experience I had was in 2021 when my 15 yr old dog was in his final year. Every time I took him in (whether routine checkup or for an issue) Dr Frank would say, "I mean, he's an old dog..." which was true, but there was just zero empathy - just very removed and cold, even as I sat there teary-eyed at the very end. We adopted a new dog and took him to Animal Wellness Center (Mt Dora), where they were the complete opposite. However, it was a bit of a drive so for convenience sake, I stupidly decided to give Seminole Springs another try, convincing myself that the initial experience was not as bad as I remembered, and it was just a result of me being emotional and hypersensitive at the time. Well, nope. This week I took my 2 yr old dog for his annual, but as in previous times there, he freaked out the moment we got to the front door. He started trembling something awful - his whole body just shaking - not like him at all! For this, I requested that he not be taken away from me for any procedure (they wanted to take him away to the back to trim his nails and do the heartworm test) They had accomodated this in his past visit, but this time I was told by the tech that "Dr Frank prefers to do this without the owner." As my dog was trembling and hiding under my chair as far out of reach as he could, I pled with the tech saying that I needed to stay with him, whether the procedure is done in the room or in the back. The tech left and Dr Frank walked in, greeting me with "What is the problem that you dont want us to take your dog to the back? Animals are like kids, kids cry but then are fine." All professionalism out the window - this man was irate, and I was being scolded! I explained that I just was concerned by how obviously nervous my dog was, and wanted to be present to comfort and reassure him. Annoyed, Dr Frank stomped out of the room like I was some crazy difficult Karen. Look, I understand that it's preferred for some procedures to be done without the owner, but I believe that the owner should have the option. Either way, there was zero sympathy, zero compassion in this whole interaction so needless to say, I ended up leaving and wont be returning. If you're someone who has a nervous pet, you may want to avoid this practice. Cost has never been an issue for where we take our pets. This visit alone would have been around $350 but we love our furry guys! And I will gladly get in the car and drive to a place where they at least act like they like animals and appreciate their customers.
