I was quoted a certain amount for a service when I made my appointment in person with Tom but that amount went up $10 during the actual appointment a month after that quote and $15 more when I went in for my second appointment 2 months after that. Additionally, I was informed during my last appointment that he automatically adds a tip to the service in addition to a non-cash adjustment fee. I had hoped to resolve this issue after speaking to Tom; however, the lack of communication indicates otherwise. While I wish him well, it is safe to say I will not be going back.

After stepping outside the box and letting go of the APRON STRINGS of a female hairdresser, I took on a very kind, professional and knowledgeable gentleman whose experience over 30 years are spectacular!! Would I recommend Tom's Color Bar. Maybe, if he gets back to coloring hair! As the husband and father of Tom's former clients, I can give a fair evaluation of this salon. Once the nicest salon in the tri city area now looks like a bait and tackle shop. Apparently neglecting his salon customers. Well I know 2 customers that have moved on and are apparently very happy with their new stylist.

I tried to inquire about the services and Tom told me he would have to see my hair to give me a price. Fair enough! When I tried to make an appointment or asked to call back to make one so I could see my schedule he told me he was booked pretty tight. I guess he doesn't need new service.

Fantastic coloring and hair cut. Tom got my hair looking better than I thought it could. He definitely knows what he is doing! Very informative and helpful in getting my hair back to healthy again.

I needed major corrective color. I'm also from San Francisco, super picky about my color, and have for years been unable to locate anyone locally who could color my hair the way that I love. Tom took the TIME to talk to me rather than rush into doing my color. During that convo we looked at old photos of me when I love my hair. Tom realized I didn't want the hair I had asked for, I didn't understand the terminology color experts use for their highly technical trade. THANK THE

I got the hair color and cut I always wanted, but never knew what to ask for. Tom is a great Stylist - so talented! I highly recommend him. Lovely Salon. An enjoyable time.
