My husband brought our High mileage work van in to be checked due to some slight irregularities in shifting. Chad did a thorough check and explained everything in detail. We will be returning when it is time to replace the tranny. It’s hard to find a good transmission shop so we consider ourselves lucky we have one right here in Lake County! They were referred to us and we definitely recommend them also.

My 2014 ram 2500 decided it wanted all gears to be neutrals. Dropped her off at the transmission physician on a Monday. Diagnostic was quick and I had a written estimate within a few hours. I use the truck daily for work so a short downtime is critical. I was given a two week time frame for a full heavy duty rebuild.
I got the call she was ready two days shy of the quoted time. Price was reasonable and communication was amazing. The truck is running great and I would highly recommend Transmission Physician.

My first call to this company the woman who picked up the phone was soooo nice, and even more pleasant upon arrival. They did a test drive on my vehicle and told me what was wrong within hours of dropping it off. They are so professional and kind! I highly recommend this place. If I have any issues I will definitely use them in the future, and refer friend/family.

The shop is always efficient and takes care of any issues in a timely manner. With older vehicles, there always seems to be things that happen but Transmission Physician always takes care of things promptly.

When I tell you this should have been a stressful situation for us - it should've been BUT it wasn’t because of Julie!! We put our faith in them with my husbands truck (and that truck is his BABY) and they did nothing but impress us the whole time! Julie let us know EVERY step of the process, she fought with our warranty company for us, and they went above and beyond to make sure they provided quality work in a timely fashion! Thank you for everything guys!!! You are AMAZING!

AMAZING!!! Wow! I wish there were more car places like this! FINALLY a reliable, honest and very well priced shop! We took my husband’s f-150 there to be diagnosed because of a transmission issue after the dealership quoted us $166 to basically tell us nothing, either we would fix it with a bandaid or pay $3000 for a new torque converter. This place was able to get us in quickly, communication was awesome and they diagnosed the issue within a few hours and had it fixed the next day for $450 And the cost of diagnosis goes towards the repair! Thank you! So happy to have found a great place for transmissions, which is hard to find! Well worth the hour drive each way to find a place like this! The dealership wanted over $1200 just to drop the pan without repair. Thank you for saving us a lot of money and time, with a reliable fix!!

I have to say that transmission physician is a wonderful, honest and most helpful garage that I have been to. Id like to thank Julie for all her hard work in finding the part that I needed for my Ford focus. I would highly recommend them to everyone that I know.

This shop truly saved me when my transmission went out while visiting from PA. The were so professional and HONEST! They got me back to PA on time and gave me the peace of mind, so I could enjoy the rest of my time with my mom. Everyone is smart on cars and truck, even Julie the office manager. They were recommended by a family member and I am so glad that they were the shop that I chose. They assessed what was the best options for the transmission repair. They rebuilt the transmission with new heavy duty parts for my 2500 4x4 Silverado and within the same price I was quoted! It is a very professional shop and I highly recommend them!

I called this this place and shared with them what was happening with my truck and they were a week booked out before they could even begin to see what was going on and I then called the next day to explain to them it was the torque converter and she then had me in that same day so I wasn’t stranded somewhere!! In just 2 weeks I was right back in my truck and on the streets!!! Julie was so amazing with communication and keeping us up to date with everything going on!! I am very happy with the services received here that I will always have my business!!

Transmission physician I have to say is an excellent shop. They do great work in a timely manner, and standby their warranty. They fixed my 2012 Cadillac Escalade perfectly, And then honored the warranty exactly one year later when a gasket went inside the transmission. Chad is the one responsible for the shop, And his front desk person was always available and answered the phone when I called, She was very pleasant and professional . All the information I got was exact and I don’t believe I could’ve gotten a better experience anywhere. Thank you Transmission physician.
