Several times,the mail carrier doesn’t bother to deliver our packages to our apartment number. So a family member of mine that sends my kids packages from another state, has started to pay for a signature to be required. So 7/25/2025 my family member received a notification in her email that we were getting her package on 7/25/2025.So I waited all day for the mail carrier to come up to the door. Nobody came,but on my family members end said they got a notification that it was delivered at 1:13pm in the afternoon,and that it was signed for. This package was for an 11 year old and a 5 month old. I go down to the mail boxes and the package was in a parcel box. The issue is the package was signed for. So the next day I report this to the Eustis post master,and come to find out, that mail carrier who delivered that package FORGED a signature that said my 11 year olds name! A child can’t sign for a package. He also doesn’t know how to do cursive. The other issue is my family member pays extra to have it signed for,and the mail carrier forged a child’s signature and didn’t bring the package to the door. So if somebody signs for a package, it wouldn’t have been left in a parcel box either.Which is was this mail carrier did. Said it was signed for,and put the package in a parcel box. The post master showed my husband and I the forged signature when we got to the post office. It said my 11 year olds name! I also showed the post master the notification my family member got saying it was signed for,and I showed the picture of the package in the parcel box,where it wasn’t supposed to be!

What a joke. So poorly managed. Postmaster could care less. I can't believe he is earning a pension that tax payers will have to pay for. I hope the place closes asap so AI can replace every single one of them.

More than a couple of times, that carrier scanned a package and never delivered. I get noticed that it was delivered but nothing. It's a joke to call or go to post office as they say nothing to do as package is with carrier. To send out things is very good, but those on routes don't care. We get changes of carriers all the time never 1 person. Also get others mail, we live in west side but get east side. They one or twice have gotten ours. We also get mail for people that don't live here nor have right addresses.
Update 5-28-2025
They have gotten a little better. We have the 1 main carrier, and he bends the package that clearly says don't bend. Also, have them fitting packages that don't fit in box, to the point I had to get a new bigger one. They also rocked it back and forth and had to replace post. They was told it has to be this hit so it's not hard for him to reach.

Almost always never picks up their phone, carriers will not ring doorbells for signature, deliveries are commonly in the wrong boxes or delivered to the wrong home, track record is years of issues with no improvement in sight. I hope that changes but for now is a 1/5 for me.

Yep I don’t just get a neighbors piece of mail, I get their entire stack of mail!! I always send my son to their home and make sure he rings the doorbell and hands it to someone but I have never had a neighbor bring me a single piece of mail! I have had delivery notices saying that something I have been waiting for has been delivered but it’s not on my porch or in my mailbox!! Worst post office ever!

Yes, Eustis is a small town but our time should be considered just as important as any other area. Usually service is fast but today, there was a stand still for 10 minutes or more Two usual employees with the same person for more than10 minutes. Four of us waited for 7-8 minutes then more people started to wait. One customer they were helping had at least 20-25 of the same medium size white USPS boxes that were scanned and put in a USPS cart. The other customer had a problem with one package he was trying to ship. An employee that could not just sell stamps to the first two ladies in line was only there to assist with shipping packages. He couldn't do anything else. He called one customer and had to explain something to her then went to get help. This whole ordeal took more than 10 minute stand still should've been handled differently. The guy with the 25 boxes should've been limited to 2-3 at a time and the guy with the problem shipping one package should've been put to the side. Those two people held up the line for other 8 of us standing in line. All this happened today at 120-134pm if there is a camera that can be looked at.

Our mail lady is the laziest person I’ve ever met. Just leaves the pink slip on your door to tell you to either schedule red delivery or come pick up the package from your local post office. I’m not the only person that she does this too. Makes no attempt to knock and this is not the first nor second time that this is happened to me personally, I attached screenshots from my neighborhood Facebook group where other people Same thing. Now I have to waste a trip to the post office tomorrow a 30 Just because that lady is too lazy to do her job

Jerome is the best. I called this office because my important documents ended up in Florida when it was supposed to be delivered to a different state. Jerome was kind and patiently helped me locate my envelope and redirect it to me. I am very thankful for his work.
