This is the only seafood festival I will go to. The food entertainment, and the locals always make this a great time. I have been going for decades and it gets better every year

Had a great time at the 54th Everglades Seafood Festival! Make sure you take your bug spray if you plan to be there on any evening, the mosquitos are professionals who don't take no for an answer! Our favorite food booth was the Cajun food stand, the oyster po'boy was fab, and the boudin was amazing , we went back for seconds and even took some home, it's hard to come by in SoFlo!! Their food was reasonably priced, for a festival and in our opinion - $20 po'boy, stuffed to the gills and served with tartar & remoulade on a super soft bun, and $10 boudin links that were about half a pound each and steamed to perfection! The vendor was Real Cajun Cookin' out of West Palm: A few other booths had really nice food presentations that were super tempting but we were full - plates ranged from $20 to $30, but the portions were HUGE, especially the coconut grouper, which we'll try next time! We also had boiled peanuts from the Lion's Club booth, $5 and always a winner! Domestic drafts were $7 each or 3 for $21, not a bargain, but nothing at a festival is ever a bargain, so know before you go if that's a sticking point for you! The music we heard was really fun, especially Pickle Money, which I really wanted to rename Pickleback lol. It's also worth noting that chairs at the grandstand are only for elderly people and veterans - even though you might have been able to bring chairs in past years, not so this year. We're always fine to stand & dance, but others may not be!

Don’t waste your time driving here. Food was horrible to average, pushing ticket sales at the gate for $10 donation. People thought they had to g have tickets to eat food and entry fees. NO CHAIRS ALLOWED and very limited seating. Seniors will need to rest in the sun. Never again! Only put a rating because you have to.

We have been going every year and enjoying the local vendors. Great time to support the locals. They have bands play for a weekend a year at this festival. There's tons of food and drinks. Lines can get long. The guy cleaning the bathrooms was great as well. They have a fair for kids set up near the courthouse. they didn't have crab legs this year but they did have claws.

We looked high and low for seafood at this "Seafood Festival" and we're sadly disappointed with the lack of choices. We were looking forward to seeing the Marshall Tucker Band, which, as you can see from the picture, didn't happen. What a terrible design/ place for the main stage. This 2 hour drive will not be happening again...

An interesting combination of Texas and South Florida cultural expressions. It is a small festival you can walk in about 1-2 hours. No outside food and drink allowed, wich means you have to pay ridiculously high food prices inside.

I wanted it to be good. Very few seafood choices. Mostly your standard carnival food. Long lines which is not there fault. Food prices were a bit ridiculous and I am not cheap. 20 bucks for 3 grilled oysters was excessive. At least the line was short ?. It was also difficult to navigate. Its kind spread out in strange way. Not something I would rush back too.

We parked in a restaurant lot at $10 per motorcycle. We walked right up to the festival and walked around with our friends. We got tickets for beer, which was $20.00 for 3 beers. The food is bad and overpriced. As we were walking out, a lady came up to us asking us to pay an entrance fee which was supposed to be a donation at $5.00 per person. This was never the case in the pastyears. I asked why we have to pay when we had already paid for parking, overpricedfood and drinks. She said this had changed and now a cover charge. I pointed out that many people did not have a band. She saidthey were locals. I asked how do you know I am not a local..she asked me for ID.and if I didn't pay, the fire marshall and police would arrest me. Hundreds of people without a band, and we got picked on. I guess bikers aren't locals. We have beencoming for years. We will never be back. There is NO entrance booth!!!!! If I had been arrested, I would sue someone. Lots of people without a band that look like a Biker!

Terrible, all of the seafood was fried and what wasn’t taste like ? on top of that super expensive. At least if it was good food i don’t mind paying the price. We ate standing up, everything looked dirty. Never again!! Long lines for everything!
