We stopped by midweek for dinner after a day of exploring the Everglades and it served up my favourite dinner of our trip. It’s got old school, unpretentious diner vibes and I loved it. The staff were friendly, attentive and the food was exactly what we needed after a busy day. We shared gator nuggets and hush puppies for appetisers followed by a fried fish basket and fried shrimp basket for our mains. The food was hot, crisp and fresh. The fries were standout, they were so crisp and well seasoned…I could probably have eaten 4 bowls of them and been a very happy man. We finished with some key lime pie which was tangy and fresh. If you are in the area exploring I would 100% recommend a visit.

This is a diner like place with affordable menu choices, great service, and decent food. And it would seem to be one of the few to remain open after sunset. I had the shrimp dinner which was good. My wife chose fish tacos and was pleased as well.

If you are looking for the best bang for your buck and delicious entrees, you have to stop here when you are in Everglades City!! I always eat here, breakfast, lunch and dinner LOL whenever I'm in the area working on the cell phone tower! They open at 6:00 a.m. and their biscuits and gravy and hash remind me of the old Plant City I grew up in.A True treasure at the very tip of SW FL.

We ordered the frog legs, blue crab sandwich, gator bites, and the deep fried key lime pie. Everything was DELICIOUS and fresh!!Gator bites were incredible -- moist, tasty, and tender! The frog legs were meaty and yummy, maybe a little overpriced for the quantity, but we weren't disappointed. Softshell Crab sandwich was good, but the star of the show was the deep-fried key lime pie!!! Definitely a sharing plate. It comes out looking like a burrito crepe! So sweet, deliciously tart, absolute perfection! Will come here again!

An old cute Mom and Pop diner in the Everglades City. Service was great, ordered the grouper with fries and alligator bites. Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of the coating they used. They advertise a gift shop but I couldn’t see any “shop” just a couple of display racks by the front entry.

Great prices, inviting atmosphere and the food was quick and tasty. Coffee mug was always full, an excellent example of an American diner. This is my regular stop, I feel at home here.
