Very expensive gas and price is not shown on the roadside sign. Only plus is that it's well lit at night.
I'd personally go to the gas station(s) in Everglades City (5 mins to the south), it's much cheaper there.

Last Gas Station Until Shark Valley Heading toward Miami. Has a Subway restraunt as well. Your in a remote area. I dont get why people complaining about higher gas prices lol.. its common sense. Fill up before you drive middle of nowehere next time..
