Had breakfast on Saturday rated this experience 5 stars from our waiter Tim to the food.Went back on Sunday we ordered corn fritters hamburger and a farm salad with grilled chickenFood came out,the burger is missing the chips and pickleMy salad came out with grilled shrimp it was taken back the place. It was not busy .waitress was Kim very pleasent, but she must have been new and lack of training (that is not her dault)So by now my brother finished his burger I still had not gotten my salad. He finished his beer still no salad. Waitress offers us dessert, for the inconvenience. we declined.Told the girl might as well make that salad to go .So you would think they would have separated the hot chicken from the cold salad nopeGet home lettuce wilted .So our 2nd visit I rate a 2.Shame on the manager for this one

This is hidden gem in a very small town in Fellsmere. We have actually eaten there several times over the years. Tried it again last week and had one of the best meals ever. I had the blackened catfish lunch with black eyed peas and okra, yum. Most of their food is southern style. My husband had the chicken with baked beans and mashed potatoes. Our friends who had never been there tried the frog legs and the BLT. No one was disappointed. The service was good and this historic building did not disappoint.

Overall, it was very good. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. I had the fried chicken and it was very bland. The fried green tomatoes are subpar. Everything else was pretty good. I will go back.

It took almost an hour to receive lunch even though the place was only half full. The food was pretty good. I was hoping for better than pretty good.
