Nice salon and staff is friendly. Jacara is an excellent stylist. She does the best hair and scalp wash on the island. She is a perfectionist. I love her blowouts! My hair always looks great.

I went from long hair to a Pixie. I was very nervous about making such a drastic change but determined to do so. My stylist Kathy was just amazing every step of the way. I just could not recommend her any more. I LOVE my cut.
Requested style: I brought in a picture of the style I wanted. Kathy was able to give me that cut.

Stylist: Erin is wonderful. Teaches me so much about caring for my hair. Teaches me about the correct products to use and when to use. I’ve lived here 5 years and I finally found my hairstylist.

It’s been over a year since I had gotten a haircut and really wanted to go somewhere nice and professional to treat myself. I found this place and got a free consultation with Michelle and had my hair appointment with her just a few days later. The products smelled amazing and everyone was so warm and friendly. I so appreciated how Michelle cared so much the whole time to make sure everything was perfect and I loved seeing how happy she was with the results too! I am in love with my cut and can’t wait to go back to get highlights too. I’ve already gotten so many compliments and I’m soooo happy I found this lovely place and stylist! ❤️

Crystal at Atlantic Hair Studio provided full wedding hair and makeup for me and three bridesmaids. She is incredibly kind and professional, listening carefully, and bringing your inspiration photos to life. I also loved that she made each individual person look their most beautiful (not just one standard approach). I would love to work with Crystal again soon!

I was called Friday, 5/31 early in day to ask if could come earlier than my appointment and said I could not. Jacara tells me she needs at leat 3 hours to do my hair. She has never seen my hair and had not been here before. She seemed to have an attitude during the convo. So when I get there at 5:40, she tells me after she looked at my hair, says “I need 3 hours to make it look right for full”. I tell her to do partial. She days “I can’t guarantee how it will liok”. So I tell her “so you cant tell me for your service, you can not make what you do, regardless of full or partial, you dont know if it will turn out”. She says “that’s correct”. So then I say let’s start with partial”. She agains says “I need 3 hours for partial or full”. I aked her “so for either, u need 3 hours”. She says “yes”.
So I should have just walked out then because it wa obvious she wanted the $$$.
I am 57 and been having my hair for longer than she has been living.
So she starts on my hair at 5:46pm. No one else in salon but her and I. I tried talking to her but she refused to talk to me. Most awkward and uncomfortable experience ever! Then before the process was finished the saion lost power. So she went ahead and took folis out. Not a word to me, not even I apologize (not her fault lost power but the way she handled it was so rude and frankly unprofessional). So she puts toner on. Says 10 minutes. Left, came back 18 min later. Not a word to me. Then rinses out. Patted dry with a towel. Then takes me to check out , not even a mirror to look at, charged me 167.00 and cant even blow dry to even know but charges me all that, does not say come back if not satisfied or at least say come back for me to style it which is part of service.
This was the worst experience I have ever had and would not recommend anyone to Jacara.
This is exactly what happened, no exaggeration whatsoever. I left crying, emotionally shaken up. One should leave a hair salon feeling good after paying money to have ones hair done. I am embarrassed to even mention what happened to me and should have just left when she told that she needed 3 hours period to make my hair look nice, it was obvious it was anout the money for her amd not making a client happy. Worst service ever had!!!!
I pray whomever reads this, they understand how she treats one and a new client and not good for this business.

I absolutely love Atlantic Hair Studio! Heather Robbins has been cutting my hair for years and she is phenomenal. She is so kind and respectful and I am always happy with my haircut! I cannot recommend her enough as a stylist.

Erin corrected what I thought was a hopeless haircut done somewhere else! She is working with me to show me how to embrace some of my natural waves instead of me continuing to damage my hair by straightening. She is a master at what she does. Thank you so much!!

Mom of 2 missed a appointment then called apologized and re booked just to have the owner talk for her hairstylist and tell me I wasted my time coming in because I wasted her stylest time. Very unprofessional did not derseve that treatment I wasn't rude to anyone they never had intentions on helping me just being very rude and spite full. Not for the younger crowd and elders beware of missed appointments to be honest I went next door to the next hair place and they also told me there clients from this place transferred to them because of the treatment very awful place I recommend saving ur money and going somewhere else!!!

This place has the best atmosphere and the staff there are the nicest people you will meet. I have went to MANY different hairstylists and no one has done my curls right until I went to Heather Robbins. I love going to see her and chatting with her. Will definitely recommend
