The male manager was very rude along with a female employee. This is not the first time experiencing this at this location. I asked if an online price could be honored. This absolutely irritated them. Which, is confusing as to why it would. It could have been a simple answer. Why have an online price without the ability to order online, if online prices aren’t honored anyway though. However, the female employee rudely said “I’M JUST A CASHIER” The manager wouldn’t assist just said no. I asked for the district or general managers information because of how the situation was handled (as a business owner I would want to be talked to instead of a review posted) however, they would not give the information to me.
With all this being said the dollar general on Chester always has great service! Friendly staff every time!

The new manager Janet Kelly has transformed this store ? She is always so friendly & helpful! The shelves are always neatly organized, the price tags are up to date, and it's very clean Exelent store and employees!!!

Went to pick up my online order before going out of town they didn't give me all 4 of my shirt guns then when I called they wanted me to have someone pick it up instead of given me my money back and I still haven't gotten my money back or anything. So now I have to waste my time to drive back to the store to make them give me my money back bc it's pointless for what I needed if for now I am back home out of town. Instead I had to hear a store about how stressful the job is smh.

This location is so hard to get around. Always has stock in the isles and makes for a difficult shopping experience. Most of the employees are kind and they are the only reason I gave this two stars.

They are currently understaffed but employees are still helpful by telling what isle items are located. Their shelves are mostly stocked, but a few items are missing.

So glad they added this place out here a couple years back, items here are cheaper than at the gas station, they have really good prices in general, and they also sell all sorts of stuff. Service has typically been very fast for me, even though there's usually only 1-2 people working at a time and they tend to be very busy stocking shelves.

Rude, not helpful at all. I called because I had left my phone and the lady that answered was very rude, got very snarky saying “she was busy and will look in 10 minutes and she will call later. She still hasn’t called. I called at 6:56 it is now 7:33 as I write this, still no call. Big thumbs down for customer service
