Mexican Store And Taqueria El Rincon is a legitimate gem and a must-stop when in the area. It is easily the best tacos on the island, with many calling them the best tacos in Florida. The expertly cooked meat immediately reminds customers of authentic street tacos from Southern California or Baja Mexico. Highly recommended are the al pastor, carne asada, cabeza, and carnitas tacos, each balanced and delicious. The red salsa is spicy but so good, and the green salsa is so good too. The horchata and unique coconut drinks are also praised. Beyond the incredible tacos, it is also a store with all sorts of Latino goodies, authentic Hispanic snacks, and groceries. The staff is super friendly. For many, the experience is so memorable that the tacos are talked about long after visiting.

I stop in to purchase the sweet biscuits that I can only get in Jacksonville. They have all sorts of Latino goodies in the stores. But stay away from my biscuits! I buy 5 packages at a time because they are delicious with coffee!
