Wow! What a gem! Absolutely astonishingly beautiful stay! A way to get yourself into the history of Florida first hand. Simply a romantic, intimate, magnificent, and one of a kind Florida stay which allows you to get to Amilia beaches for a change of scenery, or a downtown walk to any restaurant or a shop, and just a stay in the room is worth the time to immerse yourself into Florida's past. Can't wait to go back.

How can anyone give Fairbanks House fewer than 5 stars?
EVERYRHING was perfect. The service (thank you, Kim, Leslea, and Flint!) was superb--truly, every request was instantly fulfilled. Break hand the afternoon social hour nibbles were exquisite. The Inn is within easy walking distance of everything in Fernandina. We've already booked our next sat for New Years.

We loved our stay here for our Girls Getaway Weekend. We were treated like family from the moment we arrived. The food was prepared like a.5 star restaurant and staff paid particular attention to dietary restrictions. We look forward to returning here and will definitely recommend this. Thank you again for making our trip a memorable one.

My wife and I had our honeymoon on Amelia Island and the Fairbanks house was an incredible experience. The quiet morning breakfasts on the porch were incredible and the food was delicious. The staff are kind and accommodating, always happy to make your stay better. Love that they save the daily cookies for you even if you are out and about. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

This a beautiful location to escape and relax. The Fairbanks House is a historic Bed and Breakfast in a gorgeous fairytale town. The staff were amazing. Kim and Tammy prepared fabulous breakfasts fresh baked cookies and hosted a wonderful social hour. They were very mindful of a gluten allergy preparing alternatives that didn’t lessen the quality and deliciousness of the food. We met a few of the guest who were celebrating their anniversary at the same time we had plenty of privacy! Planning our next girls escape there. Thank for a wonderful time!

Our first bed and breakfast experience! We were blown away by the timeless beauty of the house. The place and rooms are immaculately clean and charming. Service is exceptional with the innkeepers opening the door for you upon your arrival back to the breakfast/social hour goodies! We throughly enjoyed our two nights here and sometimes even opted to stay in the house instead of going out just because of the coziness. Thank you all!

Great location and friendly hospitality. Breakfast is great. Tammy is friendly and helpful and a fantastic cook. She pays attention to the food requests and makes sure everyone is happy. She made our stay especially wonderful because of her attention to detail while she was also taking care of other household tasks. Wonderful!
Our only small suggestion for the Fairbanks is to update electrical outlets by adding more to the rooms or supplying extension cords. So if you use a phone as an alarm clock ...and a USB port near the bed or electric outlet would have been so helpful!
The bikes were great and it was nice to have a bag on the front for a water bottle! Awesome experience at the Fairbanks. Highly recommend this B and B.

Genuinely enjoyed my stay at this historic b&b. Walkable to Centre Street and full of historic charm, I especially enjoyed the two-course Southern breakfast served each morning (and also the freshly baked cookie laid out for me in the afternoon). Flint and Tammy (and Brittany, too!) were all wonderfully helpful and hospitable. A wonderful place to stay while visiting and exploring Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island!

Wow! It takes alot to impress us! We wanted for nothing! They pampered us so much! We had room 4 with a private balcony! Very nice suite , spacious, clean, we had a smile on our face the 2 days! You feel like you have your own chef at breakfast! The staff is so nice and really outstanding!
This lovely quaint very well ran hotel will not dissapoint , but has a huge wow factor! Easy walking to the historic district, some shaded parking was nice! Pool was relaxing and well kept!
We are 3 hours away! See ya soon Fairbanks! Top shelf experience! Thank you!

This gorgeous historic home and the fabulous staff made my husband's birthday weekend fantastic!!!! From the moment we walked in until we checked out, the WOW factor never stopped. The grounds are well kept, the pool is clean and everything that comes out of the kitchen is so yummy!! Breakfast was always delicious and served with smiles!! The fresh baked cookies in the afternoon makes the entire house smell like a bakery. 😉 The social time, with hors d'oeuvre, was a wonderful way to meet other guests and learn more about the area. If you're looking for a romantic getaway where you'll be treated like royalty, this is the place!!!

Absolutely wonderful family owner's, staff, accommodations, and location! Could not ask for the most friendly, helpful, kind staff. Wonderful daily breakfast and Happy Hour! Anything you need, staff accommodate. B&B house, and my hideaway cottage was very beautiful and charming. Neighborhood very safe, and friendly neighbors. Very lovely walk to downtown Historic Fernandina, not far drive to Fernandina Beach by car. Just a very relaxing, charming, and friendly atmosphere to enjoy for your stay whether it is short or long! The grounds of B&B are beautiful, and well maintained. Rooms and cottages prices very affordable! Thank you owners Yvonne, Rob, and staff you made my stay at Fairbanks House B&B very relaxing and wonderful! It is a wonderful a place to enjoy any occasion! Also it was nice to be in a mainly only adult B&B, which allowed for a mature, relaxing and tranquil atmosphere to vacation! You must visit Fairbanks House B&B!

We were there for the Shrimp Festival and everything was great. Easy walk to every event and many dining and entertainment choices. The guest experience at the Fairbanks House was top level! We plan to return for Christmas and again next Festival

I can’t say enough great things about the Fairbanks House. We eloped here over a weekend stay and it was just perfect in every way. We loved our spacious room (The Kitchen), the grounds, the wedding itself, the breakfast, and easily most of all… the staff. Everyone was genuinely so kind and took pride in making our special day the best it could be. Thank you, Fairbanks team! Hopefully we’ll see you again next year, for our anniversary.
