Just visited this place a few weeks ago. Boyfriend initially went in by himself...then we came back 30 minutes later together. I'm guessing the manager(?) Blonde older lady said hi how are you? My boyfriend said good, I was just here but brought my girlfriend back because she knows more about fashion. She says nothing more. Looked around for a little bit. Proceeded to the door and my boyfriend told her have a good day, she straight up rolled her eyes. No thanks, seemed judgy. Not everybody with money wears a designer suit just an FYI.

Excellent mens store in the heart of downtown Fernandina! I always enjoy the personal service Courtney provides. She will even go above and beyond and send me items in my husbands size. It’s nice to know you can easily grab a gift with such a spectacular selection and convenient location.

Great selection of high quality clothes. Would have been 5 stars if Courtney wasn't so rude. Was in twice in a matter of 30 minutes. Spent over $400 the first visit. Relieved 30% discount for spending over certain amount. Returned to get a pair of paints (over $100) I had tried on during the first visit. Courtney checked us out both times. She would not honor the same discount the second visit. She did fold the paints in their paper and placed into the original bag she had placed the clothes on the first visit. Along with the snooty behavior from her, my wife noticed she offered another customer a beverage and had a very different demeanor towards that customer. She did not offer us one a beverage. I thought my wife and I were very pleasant and polite to her. Certainly we did not deserve any snooty attitude from Courtney. And I would hope she wasn't judging a book by its cover (I do not always look the part of her normal customers). Courtney's possible judgmental behavior is certainly enough to keep me from purchasing anything in there if one of the other downtown Fernandina stores have something simular or a least from letting Courtney help me.

I love the store and the apparel. Every time I'm in town I stop by and spend good amount of $ at the store. Young gentleman that's been there for a while is a great asset the store and makes my shopping experience very pleasant. Unlike the store manager ( her uncomfortable feeling of us coming into the store 30 minutes prior the closing was obvious and she commented on it ) I think simple " hi how you doing and welcome " should be standard procedure especially retail on holiday weekend in tourist town ..welcoming your guest at the store. Her cold attitude and lack of personality make me feel uncomfortable and rushed ( sorry but not sorry ma'am ) . But the young gentleman made our shopping experience very pleasant and remembered us from shopping years ago. That's true customer service. Best luck at Jacksonville college bro . $500 spent bc of you .

This store is absolutely beautiful. It's pricey but the building and attire are beautiful. I love buying my man pieces from this boutique. Very stylish and cool. Definitely a place worth visiting even if you don't purchase an item just for the experience.

My husband and I love JJ Cooper. They have amazing men's items and every once in a while I can find some cool items for the house. My favorite so far is the tobacco candles! Also, their staff is amazing. For example tonight, my husband and I realized he didn't have a jacket that fit well for our anniversary dinner. I called at 5:50pm( They close at 6pm), they agreed to help us pick an outfit out & stayed a few minutes later! Such a great store with great staff! Love the jacket and dark jeans you guys helped us with! Great quality!

Buyer beware of their no-return policy. I mistakenly purchased a shirt without trying it on first. I only did so, because I did not have an undershirt on and did not want to try on a garment after a morning of walking around in the mid-day heat. Only after the fact, when I attempted to return the shirt, I was informed of this policy, which, in their defense, is printed in the sales receipt. Still though, what kind of business practice is this? The DO offer store credit for a returned item, which some may find fair, but not me. Will not do any further business with this shop.

We shopped until we dropped yesterday! Those G&T's really open you up to new experiences. We loved this shop so much that we made two visits on Saturday, and we cannot wait to visit again. The staff is very helpful and eager to explain much of the locally inspired couture. Solidly 5 stars.

Great store with wonderful high quality merchandise. The staff was friendly and I was able to pick up a great pair of shoes. I could have bought half the store as they have a wonderful selection. Highly recommend.

Good idea. Quality clothes for men, which is what you don't see often. But, way over priced.
