I walked in and cannot believe how beautiful this grocery store was so perfectly uniformed and clean. It had everything from food to a beach chair. That store was so clean and Everyone was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to shop there again.

The store is emaculate, both nattional and local products, fresh and tasty fruit, vegetables and fish and great looking meat (we are not meat eaters). Friendly staff. We made breakfast and a couple of dinners in our condo. Wish we had H-T up north.

I read a couple of posts here that are older and said the dinners are $10. They are now $15 as of this review. Still a good deal and plenty of good food for two. I'll be going this afternoon.

We got a Greek salad & a Chicken Caesar salad on 8/29.. Date on them- packed on 8/28 sell by date 9/1. Caesar was a tad better than the Greek .. I threw out a bit of bad lettuce in Caesar, the Greek was awful! It never would have made it to 9/1! Yes, I am picky about lettuce but this was ridiculous.. A rabbit wouldn’t have eaten it…. Wings were ok, not great.. I do like the Asian bar…. Maybe hire a lettuce inspector… I live here & store is nearby.. In passing by the store manager over the years not once has he spoken..

nice location near the resorts- good way to stock up on food without paying resort prices- fruit up to date and bakery good also

We were in Amelia island for a weeklong vacation. Harris Teeter was recommended to us by a local. We shopped there almost every day. This store was clean, well organized, had a great selection and with one exception every employee was super friendly and helpful. I spoke to Dino at the seafood counter and he remembered me on my next visit! Overall a very impressive store. I wish it could be cloned so I could have one like it near me! Three times during the week we enjoyed coffee at Starbucks. On our last visit, my husband and companion noticed the barista that served them had hurriedly put her face mask on before approaching the counter. Without going into detail, they basically told her she did not need to wear it on their account. She advised that due to policy, she HAD to cover her facial piercings. Again, they told her she did not to wear it on their account. Small talk followed and after receiving coffees they sat in the Starbucks area for 15-20 minutes when they/we were approached by the manager who informed them that they had offended her employee by “telling her to take off her mask”. (Not true.) One thing lead to another and the situation escalated on both sides. As we left the store, I turned back to see the manager with her back against the wall (out of camera range?) flipping us the middle finger. Harris Teeter owns the Starbucks franchise so I phoned the store manager. The Starbucks employees had informed them of their version of what happened. He told me they had been “retrained”. Even advising him of the middle finger gesture apparently was of no consequence because the crude manager still works there. This store’s reaction is why people have come to tolerate abusive customer “service”. “Calling the manager” rarely results in action. I’m disappointed that behavior like this is tolerated. I left only two stars for the store because ultimately they own the Starbucks and are responsible for those employees, and essentially they continue to employ an unprofessional manager who, at a minimum, has poor judgement and/or self control. Please look at my other reviews. I leave four to five stars the vast majority of the time…I’m not a “Karen”, I promise.

First of all this place is so welcoming. Spotlessly clean. Typical of Amelia Island the staff is overly nice.. If you are not happy here on Amelia Island, then something is wrong. The prices are only a bit on the high side, but the quality is the best. the butcher is amazing. the wine selection is great too. the shopping center is also beautiful.. the deli makes amazing subs. We are at this store every other day.

BEST HOT BAR EVER I LOVE YOU HAIRY TEET!!!! I would sell my soul to harris teeter the food is so good. The shrimp and grits make me want to live past the age of 100 so that I never have to stop eating shrimp and grit. The cheese advisors are very knowledge able, the sushi chef is tight and the pizza is made with love

Friendly and well stocked grocery store with reasonable prices. Was able to get everything we needed in one trip for our stay at a vacation rental.
