Booked for a bath online. Website said they'd contact with any questions or concerns. Staff seemed pleasant enough when we arrived.
However, it appeared the first time anyone looked at the booking because we marked our dog has a heart murmur and the staff member noticed it then. She then asked what level the murmur was, then proceeded to tell us the Petco system wouldn't allow anything over a level 1 - which would have been great to know before we spent 45 minutes packing the dog up and driving here.
So, for anyone else trying to get grooming... if you're dog has a heart murmur, don't schedule with Petco. Save your time and frustration when you arrive and they turn you away.
At the very least, Petco's grooming scheduling system should tell you about anything that would disqualify the session.
This isn't a ding on the staff member, it's on Petco themselves.

Been here many times and always had good service. This time we had to ask two separate time over a long span of time. Finally Thomas came to help us with fish. He asked us about our aquariums and didn’t even let us finish our sentences before eye rolling and having a condescending attitude. I could have had a tank for 100 years and he would have found something I did was wrong in his eyes. He was very rude. Finally after his 30 minute spiel of how he knows everything there is to know about fish and aquariums he informed us that if we get fish there they would now guarantee then due to our tank being over run with fish. Mind you he didn’t know how many fish we had in our tank. I was so angry with the whole conversation and how he was belittling. I said some choice words and walked out. I have never in my life returned a dead fish to this location even when the fish died in the bag before we got home. I can’t understand how anyone can employee such a rude individual in a customer service position.

Great staff!! Also they have many items in-stock. The Vet clinic inside (Vetco) has amazing doctors and their staff will take great care of your pets.

I used vetco for the first time and this feels like the first time a veterinary team has felt so caring and welcoming. They took such good care of my Pandora and the prescription diet and other suggestions have helped with my babies tummy issues. I will be bringing all of my fur babies here from now on!

We waited a good 30 minutes for someone to help us buy fish. The cashier called for an associate 3 times, but no one came. We tried to find someone too, but there weren’t any employees on the floor. We’ll be going to Pet Supermarket later.

I've been going for quite some time to have my cocker spaniel groomed. Normally, I have Ashleigh groom him because she does an amazing job. But this last time, I no longer see her name in the groomer to be chosen. I'm assuming she left. So I picked whoever was available. While they shaved him poorly, to say the least, they didn't even bathe him. I had to finish shaving his legs and bathe him when I got home. Never mind the fact they called me at 130, didn't even leave a message that he was done. I called at 330 to see if he was done. So my old man was sitting in a cage for far longer than need be. When I picked him up, you don't get to see them before paying, so I tipped 20 and went to get him. They brought him out his butt was soaking wet. So I'm guessing he had an accident, and they just sprayed his butt off. I tried calling when I got home they didn't answer 3 times. Called the 1800 number, and they said they would escalate the situation and I would get a phone call within the next 24 to 48 hours. Much like the store, no one ever called me back. I wish I knew where Ashleigh went because I would follow her. You can see in the picture that my seat was covered in dander further, proving he was not bathed.

As long as you know what you want it’s great. If you need help good luck. Very few employees every time I go there. Their Vet services are outrageously pricey. I haven’t tried their grooming services but people seem to happy with what they provide.
