I’ve been using Salon 2000 for 7+ years. For curly hair, Debra is your girl! I have very unique curly hair with more than one texture. She understands the different types of curl patterns and has been a godsend for my haircuts! You can trust Debra with difficult hair types but she is also a pro with straight hair and color!

Horrible treatment from a stylist name GiGi. I was ready to spend some good money as my
Hubby was paying for my appointment.
This little demon began to insult me and insist the haircut was going to be expensive and the upkeep I probably wasn’t ready to up keep that as well.
She told me it can pricey. Yes I am aware I’ve been a Aveda customer for years. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Little nasty thing. I’d never go to salon 2000 and I was ready to drop some money but she wanted to judge me and shame me so I left. I am not giving her a penny of my hubby’s money. I rather go to the school at this point they’re not so jaded like that repulsive Gigi. Go talk to your family like that see what they answer.

UPDATE: I was called by the manager Meghan and she was so apologetic and very sincere and apologized profusely. She asked for me to come back so I can see another stylist for the consult. This woman was Awesome. They both were amazing and I'm going to go back to get the color and cut. I knew Aveda would do right by their reputation. I went in with such high hopes to get a trendy style and cut. Having been a patron of two different Aveda salons one in Philly and the other in Northern NJ I was not prepared for the horrible treatment from a stylist before. I did my homework I wasnt asking for anything out of the norm. It was a basic color and cut and she found any excuse to cut me down and shame me. I got up and left. I was ready To spend a few hundred dollars and give her a fat tip she lost Out on that and my desire to ever use an Aveda Salon again. She should be ashamed of herself. I even told her I'm a bit down due to my 19 year passing and hadn't cut my hair since her death and was looking forward to it. She ended up excusing herself For something bogus in the back and left me there 15 Minutes!! NO ma'am! I am not going to be treated like garbage by a person with no class. You can go treat your mom like that, not me. I got up and walked out which was probably her desire. I did get to meet the manager and what seemed to be another stylist who was super nice to me. Unfortunately, I was met with that horrible human the stylist Gigi and it all went downhill from there. She was super judgey. She gave me that feeling of you don't belong here and I will make you uncomfortable. Thanks you succeeded! Thank you G She was saying don't color your hair it's expensive to upkeep and you have to come more often and spend more money! Excuse me! How ballsy! Momma you did hear don't judge a book by its cover! You are disgusting to make already wounded woman feel so unwelcome and don't judge because I wasn't dressed like the girl next to me. Horrible JUST horrible. Do better!

I made an appointment for a cut and perm. I specifically told them I needed someone who was good with perms because my hair is very fine. They booked me for today at 11Am. When I got there the hairdresser said my appointment is only for a haircut and she doesn't have time to do a perm. I would have to make another appointment for the perm. They obviously don't know what they are doing needless to say I left and will never go there again.

Been going here ever since Debra started with Salon 2000.She's been my longest relationship!Love all the ladies there, but Debra is my girl, she works wonders on my hair!Overall great service and always a pleasant experience
