I am an american born citizen, legally blind and traveled with my disabled adult son which is a monumental feat in itself to get to the post office. Went at 8:45 am as they accept walkins between 9-930 M-F for passports.
. Was the first person there Waited until close to 930. Needed money orders but bank card pin was not working. Had to leave to go to bank only to be told there's nothing wrong with my card or pin. Went back after resetting pin just to be safe and again, the pin didnt work even with assistance using machine. Went back to bank, withdrew the cash, went back to the post office and purchased the money orders. Waited until almost 11 only to be told she would not see us even though there wasn't a soul there. She was not rude, just wouldnt help and i dont understand why when it wasnt even my fault. The bank says it's the post office machine/ not my fault and even though I remedied the issue by getting cash and Waited for hours, it was all for nothing and now I have to pay for ubers to do it all over again. Not a pleasant experience at all. But, the guy at the front counter was very patient and helpful through it all. Now I have to go to county clerk to try to get this done. :(

Would be super helpful to the work force, if you would open just 30 minutes earlier.....

If if was possible to give a NEGATIVE 100, I would. VERY unprofessional and RUDE employees at front desk. Always having issues with receiving my packages. Depending on the employee, whether you get your package same day it was delivered. I receive notifications a package is delivered. I give an hour or so before heading to PO. If not in a lock box, my experiences have varied. Some employees let you show ID, and will retrieve package. Others absolutely refuse, stating I must wait until placed in lock box. I have awaited until 8pm, go back to get my package from lock box for it NOT to be there. Last year, I had a birthday package delivered. Went the next day to pick up, it can’t be found. I check my tracking info, the package was delivered at Fleming Island USPS, only to be sent out to travel the state of Florida for two weeks before being returned to Fleming Island. When I inquired about it with staff, I was told it was “NORMAL”!! Since when???? No, my package label was perfect. Just unworthy employees. Another time I had a package delivered via UPS, only for staff to send it right back out with UPS, to then be redelivered by UPS again the following day. I honestly don’t believe there is an ounce of common sense in that building.

I can confirm the comments about passports at this location.. I have a sick mother in another country and needed to get a passport ASAP, made the appointment 2 weeks ago (earliest available) and 3 hrs before my appointment it gets cancelled due to "staff shortage".. save yourself the trouble and go to the court house.. #lessonlearned

I went into mail off a package and there was only one person working there which in the middle of the afternoon was pretty ridiculous considering everyone takes their packages between lunch time and leaving work early. The one gentleman that was working there was kind and generous enough to help me with my question and then when I came back I was hoping to get the same person but instead I got someone that had just walked in and when I asked her a question about a tracking number she gave me the worst attitude ever and pointed to the ticket and said it's right there! And honestly for someone that doesn't mail packages often and absolutely hates going into the post office because of that kind of behavior it didn't make my experience any better that's for sure

Just had the most awful experience with Heather. She refused to scan my packages after I waited in line over 30 minutes and then made me go to the side and had to do it through machine. I was told that if you request them to be scanned, they can do it manually. When I asked to speak to her manager, she told me she had no manager. She was absolutely rude and condescending. Why are employees like this allowed to continue employment at the USPS? . You wonder why you receive derogatory comments. This is why. If I acted this way at my job, I’d be fired in a heartbeat. Heather needs to leave or buy a new attitude. Absolutely disgusting behavior. She also wears her name badge at her belt, so when she’s behind the counters, no one can read her name and complain about her. Shame on you, Heather. You are an awful human being and employee.

Lucky to even get 1 star. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, granted I have been there prior to them opening, I was told they only take 2 walk-ins for passport.

Today, I went over there to try and resolve an issue with a package that I shipped through Mercari. The black woman at the front (middle age, bob wig) dismissed me at first with contacting another USPS store about the issue. I left, did some research on my own, then came back in to get the contact information for the other USPS store. This woman had the nerve to shout at me, "Ma'am, why are you back in the line?!" As of I have no right to come back in for more information on my situation. After some talking, I found out it was an issue with the label I used. But the audacity of someone to be that blatantly rude towards me is disgusting. I said it before and it bears repeating: if you hate your job, DO NOT TAKE IT OUT ON OTHER PEOPLE. QUIT AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.It's not that hard to soften up, plaster a smile on your face and assist the customer. Even if you sense that the customer is upset about something. Even if there's not much you can do.LEARN TO BE FRIENDLY, PEOPLE. IT'S NOT HARD.

I went to this location 2 weeks ago to drop off prepaid packages. Waited 20 min line all to here the African American lady at the counter said she cant scan it and give me a receipt and that I have to use the self service machine for a receipt or just leave it. I guess she must think its my first time at the Post Office. I spend thousands of dollars a year sending packages thru USPS. Remember when they were almost about to shut down and then came eCommerce to save the day and save their jobs!!! I will be making a formal complaint to the Post Master General since she refused to work while on duty. Disgraceful!

It was my mistake that I didn't read the reviews about this place regarding passports. I don't recommend this place for anything, especially passports. Ridiculous waste of an hour.

Well, now I know why there are so many terrible reviews on this post office regarding passports. Do not go here for passports go to another location. I originally scheduled my appointment online in mid December and had confirmation of this. I was called one hour before my appointment by the “passport supervisor“ When she told me that, unfortunately, they are shortstaffed and she will not be able to do my appointment which is in one hour. She told me she was very apologetic and she said please stop in anytime next week. I said, what time would you like me to come by? She said anytime during normal Business hours and she will be sure to take care of me as she is sorry for the inconvenience. Well, I just went in there and was told by the lady at tllace that there are other appointments and I cannot be seen and I can come back in two hours, as she is trying to work with me. Two hours does not work. this is a terrible way to run a post office and this is why UPS and FedEx and other facilities are taking over USPS because of the absolute poorly run facilityUpdate: already got my 8 family members going on vacation with me to go get their passport at different locations around town and make sure no one else wastes their day like I did at this terrible place

Seeing all the negative reviews of this branch made me apprehensive on my trip over but since the majority of them seemed to be about passports and I was there to send a package I thought I'd give it a try. I went early so the wait wasn't long for me but the line did grow shortly after I got there, however the people working there seemed to be very efficient with the process. I had some questions about international shipping and the gentleman helping me was very polite and patient. I did happen to hear someone come in asking about passports, and while I understand the frustration of going there thinking it can be done only to learn you'd have to suddenly make room in your schedule to drive another 15-20 minutes to do it elsewhere, I thought the woman who helped them was also very polite and and she kindly informed them of the court house. Still, that information should be updated to avoid the confusion if they don't provide that service anymore. Either that or maintain a consistent schedule for when it can be done. I'm not sure what the story is there.
