I wanted to thank Dr. Spicer, Misty, & the staff for being so kind during our new patient visit. Everyone was very polite & professional & made us feel very welcome while providing great care to their patients????

I heard great things about this place and being new to the area I saved it away for when I would need it. About couple weeks ago, our 14 1/2 year old yorkie passed away at home & I needed a place to bring her for cremation services so I called Willowdale for help during this very sad & difficult time to ask if we could bring her in. The 1st question they asked was are you a patient here. When I said no we were new to the area, I was placed on hold & then told you can call some other vets and ask them if they can help. No sympathy what so ever and they were very cold. I was very taken back by this response from a well known vet in the area that I always see recommended. You couldn’t help a pet parent because we had not been a patient “yet” we have 5 other dogs so had you helped us in our time of need and looking for a new vet, you would have had 5 other patients for life but now with the way we were treated I will never go to Willowdale or recommend them and I will share my experience if anyone ever asks. We called Fleming Island Pet Clinic (VCA) literally right up the road just in the next plaza and they were absolutely wonderful. They told us to come right in, they put us in a room and came in with condolences and walked us through our options. We were given tissues & time to grieve after they took her in the back and within a week we got a sympathy card in the mail with little prints of her paws and nose prints and then a week after that when we got back her ashes they were in a wooden box we picked out, they even engraved it with her name at no extra cost and included another plaster keepsake of her paw print and a little packet of her fur with a certificate. It didn’t matter that we hadn’t brought her there before, they treated us the way any vet who loves animals should. They were amazing to work with!

We love this vet office and especially Dr. Spicer! We chose this office when we thought we were going to move to Fleming Island but then ended up in Middleburg. It is worth the 35 minute drive. Their fees are reasonable and I like that I can order my dogs preventative meds online.

This vet office is great! They are always prompt, welcoming and helpful. They try to always get you in as soon as possible and it's always in just a couple days. It's a very clean and nice facility. They also make these very cute ID cards for your pet with their picture on it. It's so adorable. I will continue bringing my pets here.

I took my pet to be spayed. The very friendly and professional staff met me. Right after the surgery the vet called to tell me all went well When I picked her up she had an inch size incision with no bandage, she didn't have to wear a head shield. So , she was comfortable. In a day and a half she was completed herself. A fast recovery. This veterinarian is the best. I love them and so will you!!

I brought my 16 y/o blind mini schnauzer Daisy twice to this office and both times Dr Gimble and staff have been so caring and gentle when handling her. Dr Gimble listens to my concerns and she answers all questions that I have. You can tell she really cares! I highly recommend this office and won’t go anywhere else A++++

Always the best experience. Dr. Otte and the staff provide the best veterinary services. My huskies love Dr. Otte. She goes above and beyond with her care of the my doggies. Wouldn't take them anywhere else.

Today was the worst service I experienced with the staff
I called informing wrong prescription which caused $80
YOUNG girl wouldn't let me explain and hung on me
Drove to the office to complain and threatening to call police
I'm trying to explain
I asked for refund and dog's records
I WILL NEVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS BAD VET AGAIN!!!

Took My Dog There To Get Neutered. I Had Concerns Of The Swelling And Redness At The Surgical Site. Contacted The Office Was Informed To Email Photos Of My Dogs Scrotum. The Vet Would Review Pictures And Call Be. I Haven't Heard Back From Vet, Nor Office Staff. This Is So Unacceptable. I'm Changing Vets.

Amazing staff, very personable Doctors, they all take wonderful care of my four dogs. From my energetic (and wiggly) Rottweiler to my shy 13 year old Aussies, I cannot recommend the great Veterinarians and staff at Willowdale enough.

I am a nervous owner and Dr. Spicer and all the staff at Willowdale Veterinary Center have made me feel very comfortable taking my cat in for care. Over the past 12 years they have continued to be professional and very kind to me and my pet.It's now 2024 and the good people at Willowdale continue to give my old cat the very best of care, I highly recommend them.
